I used Betfair and got them at 16.5 (31-2) to make it to the final, could have got them at 40 (39-1) to win. Odds cut already 10 (9-1) to make final 32 (31-1) to win.Quote:

Koller looks screwed so I'd be willing to leave them out of any talk for the whole thing
I still cant see past a Brazil/Argentina final.
I'd recommend a small bet on De Rossi getting man of the match at 20/1 with Paddy Power!
Will Hill cut my 33-1 to 22-1 after this win, Ladbrokes have them asQuote:

they have every chance of doing, they should avoid them.
Wouldn't be rushing to throw money at Czech Republic....that was a very average USA team at best....lost their record goalscorer and Baros is not 100% either. Will rate them after the game against Italy.
Argentina's performance best so far and Ivory Coast at 7-2 to qualify from group is value.
delighted Koller is out injured,he was a threat for the top scorer but will miss a few games now.

Italy did well tonight but looked a little careless. Really looking forward to seeing France and Brazil tomorrow, that'll be all the better teams having played one game and make a better judgement. I do not rate Spain as a better team.
Well you don't need to thow much money at them at 33-1, I couldn'tQuote:

There is more to a team than the strikers and I don't think they will
have a problem scoring goals. They would have hammered England who are
about 6-1.
Anyone know the odds on Brasil going out in second round ?
I think that both Italy and the Czechs are capable of beating them.
If they draw with each other and the czechs win on gd the Italians would not be afraid of Brasil. They are never afraid of anyone.
Its worth a sneaky fiver.
Seriously.
Given as 7/2 here:-Quote:

You might want to see how they get on in the group stages first though.
Incidently Mexico tend to do well against Brazil recently, won 3, lost 1, dawn 1.
5/2 to win it and only 7/2 to go out in 2nd round.
the miserable b@stards.
Brazil Half time full time at 10-11 is a good bet today.
also.Swiss to hold France to a draw at 9-4 is worth something.
South Korea at evens is a decent bet for today i reckon

Excellent bet mate. Togo have lost 7 of their last 9 games including all 3 in the African Nations. They're in disarray over a pay dispute and I'd fancy Korea to take all 3 points.Quote:

I was just going to post the same thing! The Czechs (Koller's injury not as bad as they thought) and Italy were so impressive that I thought you'd get decent odds. 7-2 is ridiculously tight. It might lengthen if they impress against Croatia.Quote:

thank you s.korea handy €100
Had a little bet on the Swiss V France at 5-1
Seems value, you could hardly split the teams in qualifying.
Mind you, there were a pile of draws in that group.
My luck is definetly not in so maybe forget everythin i may have said before. I have done 3 5 euro 1st scorer/correct score doubles in the last 3 days.
Pauleta + Portugal to win 2-0
Pirlo + Italy to win 1-0
Kaka + Brazil to win 2-0
What are the chances?
Yes the Swiss France draw was a dead cert (with hindsight), I should haveQuote:

I always go for a big price so I don't have to put much on so I never lose

anyone listen to my advice?Quote:

Need Spain tomorrow for an accumalator.
Tunisia,Spain and Germany all to win tomorrow is a good bet.....
Tunisia Spain and Germany comes in at 4-1,worth at least €5.
I was going to back Togo, T&T and Saudi Arabia all to get no points before the tournament started but the match I was least confident in was Tunisia to beat the Saudi's. Saudi Arabia won their qualifying group which included South Korea and I can see them getting a draw today. In saying that, I do hope Tunisia get the win.
it hard to know what to expect from tunisia, was gonna back them in a treble today but having doubts now.
Come on Spain today to make me some money!!!
Might back a draw just to cover myself.
Klose to score anytime against Poland today is worth something, can get him at about even money.
Off topic I know but just to answer- Holland beat us 2-0 in 90 mins afaik,2nd goal went straight through Packie Bonners hands.Quote:

good day in the betting in running today....
wild rover made a good bit,but il let him tell ye about that.
Spain finished off my accumulator nicely.
backed the 3 homes today,1 down 2 to go.
Spain are gone into 9-1 to win it now...got them at 14-1
I can't believe they've overtaken Italy. Shevchenko was clean through after 10 minutes and no doubt would have scored but it was strangely disallowed for offside. The ref sends a Ukraine player off after half time and gives Spain a peno for absolutely nothing. I wouldn't get carried away with this result.Quote:

Past his best at 26? Every single Italian player is in his prime bar Gilardino. Gattuso and Cameronesi can still come into midfield. They've been top class the past year easily beating us, Holland and Germany with excellent attacking football. When talking of Italy's midfield you have to include Totti and imo there's nobody in world football better than him at setting up goals. You also didn't see anywhere near the best of De Rossi on Monday. The best is yet to come. :)Quote:

i think he will not play as well as he did a few years ago when he first went to Milan.Think Gattuso and Cameronesi are over rated, but Totti is still top class.
We will have to see how they do anyway, but think Italy wont go too far.
Ronaldhino may have the slight edge on Totti for setting up goals. Heavy sarcasm added
I think Ronaldinho is by far and away the best player in the world as he has more of an influence on matces than just scoring and setting up goals. He controls games. Totti though is the king of setting up goals. He played 24 Serie games for Roma last season (got injured in February). He scored 15 goals and set up 11 more. Consider that Roma spent almost the entire season without their 2 strikers, Montella and Nonda, it is amazing how he even managed to set up so many. With those strikers in the team he wouldn't be scoring as many but he'd be getting a lot more assists.Quote:

no way were england 1/2 to win after crouch scored....where did you get those odds?
