About the Kenna incident/sending off; was it 2 yellows or straight red and if two yellows are Sligo fans angry about 1 or both?

I would say there were in around 450 at the game. 500 at most. 150 rovers fans, 200 ucd fans and maybe 100 neutrals.
We were well off the pace and ucd thoroughly deseved their win. Losing to cork and derry is one thing but it is worrying if we are losing games so easily to mid table teams:(
No one I spoke to was surprised at all about mansaram being sent off. He really should have been taken off before he was sent off.
Sean Conor was extremely quiet considering how badly his team was playing. By contrast I wouldn't like to see what Pete Mahon if his team were losing 3-0, the look on some of the subsitutes faces as he roared at the ucd players in the last ten minutes was priceless (I was standing near the ucd dugout in the 2nd half);)

About Kenna, not only did he pretend his leg was broke with the Mansarem incident, he also got McT booked, again pretending an injury. Totall disgraceful behavour. If any player touched him he was off rolling on the ground. He was also trying to get the Sligo fans going by putting up his fist to us, and then trying to cover it up by pretending he was urging on his team.
Ah now come on. You can all give it but you cant take it! He didn't do anything offensive even tho ye were shouting, "Wait til you come to the showgrounds" and the like. McT could have been sent off for his challenge, and Kenna wasn't involved in that one. He made no attempt for the ball as our centre half tried to shield the ball through to our keeper and McT must've thought he was Mr T by milling in to our two players.
Mansaram should have been sent off just before half time for his late challenge when he was already booked but the ref said one more and your gone and Mansaram duly obliged with a stupid late tackle again (albeit not the worst tackle your likely to see), so the ref had no choice.

LOI attendances are pathetic but that one is a joke teams like UCD have to ask themselves is it really worth it. What is the point if there seems to be no interest from the local area or even the student population.
What's the point when you can't beat us in Belfield in the league for 25 years?
Because football is first a participation sport and second a spectator sport. We have well over 1,000 players (which I understand makes us the biggest adult club in europe) and we provide a cereer path all the way up to U21 international level for the best of them. You can't say that the student population takes no interest when that many of them take to the field every week.Quote:

You could pick a set of criteria and say that Sligo is a better club because you have a bigger ground and higher crowds. I could pick a different set of criteria and say UCD is better because we have a bigger astro park and better training facilities. At the end of the day, this is a football league and these things are judged on the pitch. We're level on points with just under a third of the season gone and we'll see how things pan out over the whole season.
No really. Any club can set up a link with a college. Some have. You're effectively making the point that we have a huge pool of players to choose from because we can sign players as well as play the ones we have. Sure that's the same as any other club.Quote:
