Overall I'm a bit dissapointed, feel like I left alot of money in the bookies despite being up.
paddy power and ladbrokes were paying out 1, 2, 3, 4. Hope you backed with them.Quote:

Roll on tommorow
Take out the first and last race and I had the winner in each of the other 4! I had 2 horses in 3 of the races but still an excellent day for me.
up about 25 for the day.
Had Brave Inca,Native Jack and Dun Doire....not bad for the opening day
Everyone in Paddy Power seemed to be up money today.
The que for the pay out on Brave Inca was nearly out the door
Had both Dun Doire and Native Jack today. :D
Betting with Paddy Power. Had three 1st places, 2 second places and a couple placed 3rd and 4th. Overall only lost on two horses. Both in the last race and totally random.
Were Ladbrooks paying out on 4th in all Cheltenham races
That's exactly who I had so all in all I'm happy even if I'm only up about £20 in total. Normally have a poor start though so I'm encouraged:)Quote:

I got a "tip" for Sky's The Limit in the 4.00 but having read up on it I'm not sure.
Dempsey looks a value e/w bet at 3.15
Got a tip for Central House in the 3.15. 7/1 any views
good horse once the jockey knows where the line is.....will take a good run to beat kato star.......mate of mine in cheltenham said that moscow flyer looked great on the gallops over there somaybe just maybe
Yesterday i had a €10 on Native Jack at 11/2 and i did the free bet in the Star - a €1 placepot - it returned €1,564. Fcukin Luv it. Sorted for the week now.

My tip for today is an e/w on Fundamentalist in the 3:15. Can be got for 25/1. Has definite potential.
I'm probably not worth listening to though as i didn't have a single winner yesterday.
refinement in the first, Witicha linesman in the last
Amazing how many feel this way. Agreat great horse.Quote:

i got this earlier ,im thinking....fiver:DQuote:
sorry to pm mate but dont pass this on
my racing syndicate told me about Denman bein a cert for today
odds are **** but we got £3000 on it at 6/4 two days ago
seriously mate, put a decent wager on it
only sayin cos you picked it already but i def got the nod on it
3.15: Stats can play a very big part in this race as it eliminates quite a few, firstly it was 1977 since the last 12 year old won this race so that puts big doubts on Moscow Flyer. It was 1973 since the last 6 year old won this race so that puts big doubts on Kauto Star. 17/21 have won at the festival or been placed at worst so that puts another cross to Kauto Star. The other stat that totally bowls Kauto Star over is that 21 from the last 22 have won over further than two mile of have won over course and distance previously which Kauto Star hasn’t done. The other two main stats are that 23 of the last 24 have come from the first three in the betting and 14 from the last 15 have saw the horses being rated 160 plus. So considering all those stats the only one left if Fota Island as he won at the festival last year, has won over further and he’s in the first three in the betting
Denman beaten pretty easily into second by Nicanor, great ride by Carberry and he won well. The bookies cleaned up on that one so they wont be too defensive for the day.
Another favourite loses..
I think betting in-play is the only way to go .. I lost on Commercial Flyer, but backed the winner at 2.5 somewhere near the end of the race ... ("watching" it on betfair) so it covered my losses.
great day for the bookies

in work so can't stick the race up on the screen (if I could even find a live link),Quote:

Not exactly going to be rich with this method, but I've been backing the wrong horses before every race up to now.
Nicanor and Darkness for me so far in my yankee, looking for Fota Island and my buddy Colman Sweeney to come good to make me quids in.
Come onnnnnn AP....
The bookies are having a field day today.
As for me - not a single winner for the festival. Think I'll cut my losses and stop.
At least thelay of Kauto star made me something (even if it brought down Dempsey)
Need a winner out of Skys The Limit, Underwriter or Equus Maximus to get something back otherwise it's a day of total losses. Resigned to my fate now....:o :D
Good job!!Quote:
