Did you see strangeirish's pic above LOL
My sides are sore laughing at the wisecracks here and in Tottyland.
The cat we have for the last few months, Bubbles rescued it from a dustbin in Athlone. Apparently, it was only a few days old and some blokes were flinging it to each other like a tennis ball. The they dumped it in that bin.
Bubbles nearly went through them for a short cut. She's a tough little wan, that Bubbles.

Vanessa and family say HELLO

How did it go in the end (I did'nt see any confirmation of death{half asleep here BTWW}?
My current fish (just known as fish/fishy since his/her brother/sister passed on) we've had for about 8 years (sister's dead sure it's ten, I'm 16 now so my memory gets kinda blurry when I think too far back, still I think she's confusing Fishy with 2 previous fish we had. a little off-topic there sorry).
Anyway about 7 weeks ago my dad came home to find the fish `dead` floating at the top of its bowl. He poked it a bit with the net- nothing. He put it in the clean bowl nearby- nothing. So he picked it up in the net and got ready to dump it into a bag when the thing starting gulping and flipping about so he put back in the clean water. It had been really lethargic since then and I thought it was on it's way out, but lately it's regained the spring in it's ......... step:confused:

Here's a real cute one. Isn't it a dote?
Wouldn't that little puppy melt your heart. The little paws and sad eyes.
Y'know, dogs are so trusting and devoted.
I love dogs more than some humanoids I know.

I bleedin' hate cats!
Sorry to drag this off topic but Olaf was pronounced dead when I got home from work yesterday (by herself).
I, however, then took a look at him whereupon his condition was upgraded to Alive but gravely ill.
As it appeared he had minutes to go I took the last course advised in some notes I downloaded and effectively diffibulated him by lifting him up off the bottom of the tank and holding him in the slip stream of the filter pump to oxegenate his blood.
He perked up considerably and continues to hang on in there. I did a 25% water change and added a dozen capfuls of a medicine I picked up (it's a 25L tank).
This morning his condition is critical but stable.

You were asking about cats and dogs. I have heard of a case where a kitten was introduced to a female dog, when she was starting to get maternal.
Anyway the female dog "adopted" the kitten and they snuggled up together and the dog got very territorial about the cat, considering the cat "hers".
There was an item about it on one of those TV shows about animals a while back.So if the cat and dog are brought together at an early stage it is possible they can be "friends".
no improvement. Olaf is close to death and claims Jesus is calling to him. He's also pointed out that the Lord would like Olafs beatification and that of his predeceased shibunkin co-habitant Gonads fast tracked.

Doubt if our mutt will ever adopt cats. Whenever, she sees one passing by the window she goes nuts. Strangely, she's not too bad with this pussy cat we have now. I reckon the P.C. gave her a good scratch at some stage so she's keeping her distance a bit. Still drops toys for the cat to chase now and again.
TBH don't know what to make of it.
For all dogs, even gay ones.....(hamish)
:D
