That's it.I feel so sorry for Given. That poor bloke will he ever get what he deserves.Well they lost it a long time ago why o why did'nt they play with such determination from the start.Germany is the ones that will miss out,the cash we would have spent there.I am fuc*ing gutted.
Yeah, time for Kerr to go.
I am off out to a club to get wasted.
See you in our next drab qualifying campaign.

Jesus Im so depressed. Im seriously not in the mood to listening to people slating Brian Kerr at the moment. I feel sorry for him, at the end of the day hes just not good enough. Im praying martin O'Neil or Roy Keane take over. When Robbie Keane got substitued it was so depressing
depressed. aye thats a good word for it. dunne was just on and tactical reviews were definitely not on his agenda.
'always going to come down to this game'
ahem
I can't sum up how I feel inside, I just feel....empty.And tearful.
At least most of them tried their best.
We all knew that beating Israel in Tel Aviv was key. We didn't. Beating them at Dublin was key and we didn't do that either.
Taking off 2 strikers for 2 strikers made no sense. None at all.
Now there are no games for a year.

I think its time to pull the whole set-up apart and start from the beginning.
Absolute disgrace of a performance..when Kerr walks down the tunnel he should keep walking..before i continue, in his defence i will say this..he is really not that bad of a manager but what happened to him a while back is he simply could not handle the pressure..he started making wrong decisions and his tactics were poor..Switzerland were terrible tonight..and i mean that..they were a team we should have beat..i could go on and on all night but there is one thing more i want to say..Kerr must leave and take Morrison with you..how is that guy playing for our country..its a fcuking disgrace..what a terrible night for Irish football..its time the FAI reach deep into there pockets and get us a top class manager..be it Martin O Neill or someone else up that end of the market..
KERR OUT NOW...and tale Robbie/Carr/Morrison/Doherty with you...what a disgrace!!!!!!!!!!!!11
Robbie Keane is just not getting any support, hes the guy that can provide that moment of magic like he did against Germany, he shouldent have been taken off. Morrison is just awful literally 90% of the close up shots Ive seen of him in my life are of him showing that annoyed, if only i done that look. afte hes mit a sitter
To say robbie Keane should not play again is just a joke, I agree with the others though. Robbie Keanes our leading goalscore I might remind you
there is no link between midfield and attack, that has been our major problem IMO.
I knew it was over when Kerr sent on Gary 'the mobility of Ron Kovic, the pace of a sunken ship' Doherty.
Back from the club. The terrible realisation that I will be nothing but a neutral at the next World Cup seems to be more sobering than any amount of alcohol I could consume.
I just didn't get the feeling we could do it. When that happens, there's something seriously wrong. I don't even think the players believed it either, just all part of our decline.
I'll close my eyes tonight and think of our missed chances against Israel, and everywhere else.

Because of Kerr's attitude before earlier games; "We don't have to win" , so what happened? We didn't beat anybody. :(Quote:

Seriously, failing to qualify for the World Cup is a severe blow to public morale, and the financial hit further harms the development of grass-roots football at all levels in this country, which does us no favours either. The FAI simply can't afford to write-off the loss of €5m of World Cup prize money. That's the financial penalty for not qualifying, and the previous good record of the side lies in tatters. The next coach has a massive task on his hands to restore confidence and team morale, in the 11 months before the next campaign. Roll on Austria and... Switzerland.
Still feeling down this morning as i wake up. Couldn't even bring myself to make it into college. Hopefully we can develop a few of the younger centre midfielders because that is where we were really struggling.
And sorry to say it but kerr has to go. He is too negativ and loyal to players such as gary doherty
