The most unusual hoping for Rovers to win for the first time ever, then again Cork C won't care about any of this, can't see it myself, but you never know, Dundalk were relegated week before 2002 cup final, and up against Bohs under SK going for the double, we won 2-1, then again a dark 7 years or so followed on.
Not sure what's going on at Pats, with such a strong finish to 2024 I was expecting them to be top 3 min this year, Kelleher won't be happy with 5th and no Europe that's for sure.
Finally, Drogs are in the unfortunate spot of the only team ever to have missed out on Europe twice in the same season, but seems they can have no complaints with that performance yesterday.

Id say there is a half decent core to the team. Imo several players haven’t preformed up to standards this season, Mulraney the chief culprit. We desperately need two new full backs and a CB to go with Joe Redmond. It’s also imperative we sign a hard working midfielder. The likes of Baggley has a nice pair of feet but can’t handle the physicality of the league. There will be pressure on Kenny next season if we don’t start well. Unfortunately if he doesn’t walk , which he won’t there isn’t much that can be done. I’ll give him next year but this season has sown doubts , hopefully he can turn it around.Quote:

If you weren't 13 points ahead, you'd have been celebrating too. Absolutely nothing wrong with Sligo celebrating staying up. They looked destined for the drop and did really well to claw themselves out of a hole. Russell is a magician. And, no offence here, but staying up is an achievement for Galway too, given everything that's happened. That you were more comfortable than Sligo is nice, but you could easily have slipped into serious trouble.Quote:

ah you're way off! 7 buses alone going from waterford. had well over 1k in tallaght a couple of years ago. Bray will have a huge crowd obviously being on a high and a short spin up the road. I'd guess 2.5k plus
