A Bohs utopia!

Waterford will be in the play off final for the 4th time in 5 years. We pushed hard for the win yesterday especially in 2nd half but Galway defended well and held on for the draw they needed.
Padraig Amond wins the golden boot after his goal yesterday which is a good achievement at his age and in a team that finished 2nd bottom.
Those Galway fans laughing at our impending relegation earlier in the season aren't so cherpy this morning.
21st consecutive season in the Premier next season, only Bohs and Pats are longer. Plus no play offs in that time. An achievement of sorts I guess.
To be fair, I think most are just relieved this season is over. I'd be a bit embarrassed if our fans were chirpy and wildly celebrating staying up like Sligo fans. This has turned out to be a poor season for us, and staying up isn't something that should be celebrated.
Interesting last round of games, I kind of called it that Waterford would end up in play off, huge shift by Sligo beating Rovers away, then Bohs with that big win over Drogs to seal 4th.
The most unusual hoping for Rovers to win for the first time ever, then again Cork C won't care about any of this, can't see it myself, but you never know, Dundalk were relegated week before 2002 cup final, and up against Bohs under SK going for the double, we won 2-1, then again a dark 7 years or so followed on.
Not sure what's going on at Pats, with such a strong finish to 2024 I was expecting them to be top 3 min this year, Kelleher won't be happy with 5th and no Europe that's for sure.
Finally, Drogs are in the unfortunate spot of the only team ever to have missed out on Europe twice in the same season, but seems they can have no complaints with that performance yesterday.
Don’t really get all the fellas digging up tweets from April when we were rubbish but maybe I just don’t understand bands
Great second half to the season for us with the exception of the Kerry game
Id say there is a half decent core to the team. Imo several players haven’t preformed up to standards this season, Mulraney the chief culprit. We desperately need two new full backs and a CB to go with Joe Redmond. It’s also imperative we sign a hard working midfielder. The likes of Baggley has a nice pair of feet but can’t handle the physicality of the league. There will be pressure on Kenny next season if we don’t start well. Unfortunately if he doesn’t walk , which he won’t there isn’t much that can be done. I’ll give him next year but this season has sown doubts , hopefully he can turn it around.
SK is certainly feeling the heat with whats happening with St Pats. With his rambling about how he qualifies for Europe a lot would be curious to see how he copes if he ever swapped jobs with KD with Drogs!
If you weren't 13 points ahead, you'd have been celebrating too. Absolutely nothing wrong with Sligo celebrating staying up. They looked destined for the drop and did really well to claw themselves out of a hole. Russell is a magician. And, no offence here, but staying up is an achievement for Galway too, given everything that's happened. That you were more comfortable than Sligo is nice, but you could easily have slipped into serious trouble.
Glad you both stayed up anyway. 2 of the best away trips in the country and I've a lot of time for the vast majority of both fanbases. And you've the MN DC flag, which is the leagues best imop.
Bray v Waterford will take place in Tolka Park on Friday. Live on VM. Waterford favourites. Bray looking to go one better on last year.
How many will travel up from Waterford on a Friday night, I suppose a couple of hundred and how many will come over from Bray, maybe a few hundred more as its a shorter journey.
Estimate an attendance of 1,500 weather permitting!
ah you're way off! 7 buses alone going from waterford. had well over 1k in tallaght a couple of years ago. Bray will have a huge crowd obviously being on a high and a short spin up the road. I'd guess 2.5k plus
Are any radio stations broadcasting the match? I have no access to Virgin and there's no streams seemingly.
Bray 1 up
This is a great watch. Really helter-skelter
The playoffs have been very enjoyable as a neutral.
Enjoyable game, even if that pitch is shocking.
Shouldn't really be hosting the match in that condition.
Some start to this game! Really entertaining for a neutral. Great crowd from Bray in particular and a great atmosphere to match. The pitch is absolutely in bits though, especially so in the box at the Ballybough end
Brutal defending from Bray for the equaliser…
Kazinga is a mad player.
Both excellent and awful at the same time.
Jesus, Keith Tracey is a gob****e, awful co comms, gets so many obvious calls wrong, hard to credit he played at a high level.
And then you have Trevor Welsh who has decided Sam Smith is playing
Was hoping Bray would have won that play off tonight, tough one for them after so many games including 3 FD games to make the one game final, but same every season for whoever gets there from FD.
