I'd be fairly concerned if Brady starts again after Saturday. I expect a maximum of 3 changes though - we'll find out soon enough.

If Brady was a horse he would be put down by now.
Looks a 5-4-1 with Andy O maybe in there to be the ball player centre back stepping into midfield. Brady and Ogbene wingbacks and a narrow 4 with probably Browne right and Knight left. Or maybe more. Central three with Knight behind Szmodics.
What even is the team here? Is it 3-6-1?
Kelleher
Omobamidele Collins O'Shea
Ogbene Browne Smallbone Molumby Knight Brady
Szmodics
I can't figure this one out. Way to fix your issues with getting swamped by going from having 2 to 4 anyways.
I'm thinking 3 5 2 with Browne or Knight at RWB ?
Well at least it's not a two man centre midfield. So it looks like the responsibility has maybe finally been taken off O'Shea and McCarthy. But it still doesn't look right.
The score apps have it as a 4 4 1 1
Could be anything
5-4-1 with Ogbene and Brady as wing backs. Szmodzics on his own up top. Pack the midfield
4-4-2 Brady and O’Shea as full backs
5-3-2 with Knight or Browne at RWB and Ogbene up top…
Still great squad management to call up just 4 midfielders and decide to start them all :)
Right. This is why I was expecting McGrath, Azaz or Taylor to get the call during the week. Browne will presumably be moved into midfield at some point with Doherty or Ebosele coming on at RWB. But having two right wing backs on the bench but no central midfielders pretty much sums up the standard of management we have had in 2024 to date.
4-5-1 with Omobamidele at right back. Good to see something different anyway if nothing else. Makes the decision not to call up any more midfielders even more baffling though.
Bit more life to this one at least. Nothing particularly incisive as yet bar that chance just now, but at least we're not 2-0 down and outclassed
Pity that one was ruled out - the offside didn't interfere with the great finish, even if it was clearly the correct call.
Bit of a dull game overall, though rather that than Saturday.
Sickner for Ogbene,a great strike….
Better. The players look somewhat liberated by an outbreak of common sense on the touchline in terms of setup. Even Brady wasn't that bad in that half, albeit he's an obvious weakness teams will target if the plan is for him to stay in the side. And to be fair to Heimir it only took him one game to figure out he was working with a pair of clueless spoofers and needed to take control much sooner than he initially anticipated.
Have to say, not seeing how Greece hammered Finland three days ago, who are currently 0-0 with England in Wembley at half-time.
Football is strange at times though.
We're much better out of possession tonight. Szmodics doing great work there. Nearly another one for the Ogbene reel. Much better performance so far, even taking the diff in the opposition (comapred to England) into account.
right in it. game could go either way. haven't given up an early goal for a change.
I thought that was a good 1st half for a new manager... and this time it does look like a Hallgrimsson team. From shape to him constantly giving instructions from the sideline you can see this isnt an O'Shea set up.
We've kept things very tight, but we are keeping the ball well and not just aimlessly giving it away like we did at the weekend. Not creating a huge amount but enough that we possibly should have scored, especially with that Browne poor effort from edge of the box. Ogbene was unlucky, that was a fantastic strike.
Overall I would say its not amazing so far, but its a beginning... and as Joey the Lips Fagan once said " I believe in beginnings"
Fairly damning on O'Shea. As I said before, he had to have presented his proposal for England to Halgrimsson who clearly went along with it. The fact he presented that with conviction must be giving him concerns about O'Shea.
Regarding Brady, you can get away with certain players at international level as we know. Wales always seem to have a few passengers. I was about to say "limited players" but Brady isn't limited, I just think he's getting old and isn't a natural left back and this is international level.
There are options on the bench there now. Ferguson, McAteer, Parrott in particular. Scales and Doherty if we want to mix up a full back. O'Brien and Scales for a centre half. In the previous formation it felt like we had no options from the bench bar changing a centre half. There is a lot we can change up here if we need to.
I actually do think Molumby can be a good player for us going forward if he has a good partner. Beside Cullen we could get a much better midfield. He is loving the options out wide.
poor defending. disappointing. back to square one.
Well that brings back memories...
Outside the box, no-one closing, not entirely sure if Kelleher saw it late or what happened. Houghton suggested he might have thought it was going wide, and then said he couldn't do anything about it, neither of which seems true.
Another goal conceded outside the box.
Why the f*** do you back off, 20 yards out
Did it all day Saturday.. now this..
Even if they run with it and don't shoot, you've to engage them inside the box and risk giving away a penalty
So ****ed off looking at that
Order has been restored to the universe
Brady lucky to be on the pitch after the elbow right after the restart.
Is RTE Player always this crap when streaming matches?
Hard to believe the amount of space he had there,a very SK goal !!!!
We're doing okay here. Ogbene is such a joy to watch.
Shouldn't have typed that we were doing okay. Nathan Collins taken to town there. What a clinical finish.
As unsurprising as it is depressing.
Early days yet for HH, but this feels very Kenny-esque. Decent start, couldn't keep up the pace, picked off in the second half, lost our way, no real cutting edge, ultimately deservedly beaten.
Two games in and already it's third (and a relegation play-off) at best.
I don’t want to hear anything more about transfer values either.
Nothing wrong with Collins there. Doherty is the issue gave up on it jogging back. Collins holds him.uo checks him back if doherty made half an effort he would have been back when the Greek checked back.
Encouraging overall. Molumby was a loss when he went off.
