Goal of the year from Moran.

Good finish but poor defence from us.
Deserved that on the whole.
I thought the cynicism from turkey was killing the game but Moran did well to win the pen and Gilsenan took it well.
There’s got to be at least 10 minutes added time so there could be more twists.
Springett and Emakhu combine for a superb goal. Surely the winner! Good game overall.
Be cheaper for one of the Big 3-4, to just give Brighton 30/40 million for Moran now, and save themselves 50 million in a few years ?
A lot of great potential in that team. Liked Lawal, Emakhu and Moran a lot and all struck me to be fairly comfortable at that level. Healy looks very good technically. Very smart move by him to head to Belgium. A bit light for the Championship but has a fantastic right foot. Springett made his impact, McNulty and Adeeko could be okay. Roughan and Curtis are two lads I have liked before but the formation didn't suit them - wing backs without the want or permission to go past the half way line.
Moran is class. I feel like we will be watching him for a good while.
Yeah I see some saying fair play to Crawford his changes in the second half made the difference. While they did it was clear from the first half that Turkey could be got at from out wide and we didn't get Springett on for the third CB until the 84 minute.
If those changes come on earlier we win that game comfortable. The changes also proved that we should have started the game using 4-3-3/4-2-3-1
They needed wingers playing ahead of them to be truly effective tonight. Roughan has some left foot though for getting balls into the box and set pieces.

Huge result. Will be massive for the belief of the team. To think as well that this team will have Hodge and Armstrong to come back in to it.
There's a huge opportunity here given how many points look like could be dropped by all teams.
Sinclair Armstrong has joined back up with the U21s for tomorrow's game.
Anyone know if this is being televised tonight?

Sloppy enough from the 21s so far. Deserve the lead but making some poor decisions I think. Lawal has been best player on the pitch. Armstrong is causing problems and Adeeko has been tidy. Vata took the goal well and Springett has had a few moments. Moran is growing into it. Furlong and Abankwa the sloppiest and Healy not as good as the other nigh but also seems to be coming into it.
Armstrong with the 3rd
Barely!
Bizarre goal.
True. I was only catching glimpses as I was at work but he was overall pretty wasteful during the game when it came to putting chances away but I was glad he got his belly on it and gets to claim it. Good week for him. He was a monster to play against, creative, pacy, powerful and his assist for Vata’s first goal was nice. Only San Marino of course. Lawal is also some athlete.
Yeah, was surprised at that given his club form seems ok and this was San Marino's U21s who I presume are all part-timers, if not amateurs. While I didn't begrudge him his call-up for the Dutch game, it shows he's a ways to go yet before he's a real option up front for us (and obviously he's only 20 yet), and just how badly hit with injuries we were when his call up was quite reasonable.

Great support from the Cork public over the last few days for the U21 games at Turners Cross.
DOWTCHA BOY!
Armstrong is a beast - and I have no problem with him squandering chances - he is still a kid and he will get better. At his age it is much better to be getting into a position to squander chances than not to be getting any chances at all. If he wasn't creating chances or not getting in a position to take advantage of the work of others then I would be worried.
Johnny Kennys 4 goals in 21 appearances for Rovers this season will probably get him the start in this game again.
I wonder is Roughan suspended or available. Would definitely be in my squad if available. Alex Murphy injured? Thought Furlong was poor in the last camp.
Killian Phillips injured or left out? Think he should be in the squad. Curious also what the deal is with Goodrham.
Wondering if a conversation was had with Troy? Don’t see why he isn’t with the 21s if the seniors don’t need him. For that last striker slot, if there’s no Parrott, not sure if I’d have Kenny, Carty or Odubeko
Good to see Okoflex back, that’s a deserved recall. Hope he gets some game time…
What do you mean what is the deal with Goodrham? It looks to me like he simply hasn't been selected based on preference. There is very good talent in his positions.
McJannet over Phillips wouldn't make sense unless Phillips is injured. Whereas Crawford has played Kenny before he doesn't have loyalty to McJannet I don't think. Same applied for Murphy and Roughan - they are hardly behind Grehan? And definitely not O'Riordan.
Didnt Roughan get sent off in last game so Id assume hes suspended.
Roughan got sent off in the second last game (vs Turkey), so if it was a 1 match ban, then he'd be back. If it's a two game ban, he misses this camp... He was on a booking - but I think it was a straight red (he was off the pitch). However, straight reds at international level are often not two game bans (see Kenny's complaints re Doherty's extended ban)
Match will be shown live on LOI TV. Kick off is 1pm Irish time. Ollie O'Neill and Conor Carty have been called up with Rocco Vata dropping out through injury.
Drogheda's Evan Weir called up to replace the injured Garcia McNulty.
Is Curtis injured?

Pitch doesn't look great
Moran is good on the ball
Springett having another good game and should cement his place as first choice RW. Sets up Okoflex for his second goal of the game.
