huge upgrade on the monstrosity they brought out last year
You'd be surprised at how many Irish speakers there are n Dublin these days. It's by-far got the most Irish speakers of any town or city on the island. Partly for obvious reasons, but also due to the growth of gaelscoileanna. There are 2 I can think of within a short distance of Dalymount (Cholaiste Mhuire and Gaelscoil Áine), with a few more further north of there (in Ballymun, Artane).
Nice job that.
I would be critical of the quality of O'Neills kit sometimes, but they offer a degree of individualisation for club shirts that you just can't get with the likes of Addidas and Umbro. And they provide a high street retail outlet for clubs that otherwise wouldn't have their own presence, which must help around Christmas etc.
I'd be curious to know what kind of sales O'neills got from Bohs last year and Derry this year due to both being in the cup finals and bringing a load of fans along ? Surely they must be shiftng more stuff for LOI clubs like that these days than they are for a lot of GAA counties ?
Thats a class jersey from Bohs. On first glance it looks similar to two years ago but what do I know?
Traditional white shirt for Dundalk next season followed by a red & black striped shirt and then a green shirt.

New Derry away kit to be announced tomorrow. Keeping both this years kits, with the blue number becoming third kit.
Expect anything, except Argentina stripes - though would be nice segue between 1st and 3rd. We've been through the spectrum at this point. If taking hints from last years home kit then some kind of canary coloured monstrosity. Or could be back to black.
Genuinely surprised that this hasn't been leaked by someone at O'Neill's like the last two tops.
Some garish monstrosity would do me grand; purple and green stripes like that one the 90s even.
New kit dropped this morning. Gold and black. I like it a throw back in history.

This article references Derry’s cup success being a boost amd the success of their relatively new superstore.
I think everything O’Neills have produced for Derry so far has been excellent including todays release.
With them having a big superstore right in the heart of the city and DCFC merch being very prominent I would like to think the relationship between DCFC and O’Neills is mutually very beneficial.

A thing of beauty
Ah ok,seen a retweet talking about Umbro and assumed it was a jersey release….
Treaty announce they'll have an O'Neills kit next season.
Very plain but quite nice. Probably best for a new and unproven supplier to go with something simple for their first effort. It’s better than any of the Cx Sport Dundalk kits in my opinion, a lot of which tried to do way too much with the design
Some more photos here, have to say although very plain, I do like it.

The connection with the GAA colours makes sense, and the link to the county's history seems a nice touch.
That new Wexford crest is horrendous. It looks like a transition year student made it on Microsoft paint. The addition of the vibrators to it doesn’t help things at all :D
Good to see Wexford moving away from the 'Mick Wallace likes things Aye-talian' phase they've been in, and attempt to adopt a more local identitiy instead.
The new colours probably make sense, but as others hasve said the crest doesn't look great. It's really not obvious that there are supposed to be 3 pikes on there either, or that they allegedly combine to symbolise a 'W'.
The pike could become a good symbol of the club though. If I was them I would have just gone with a single one on the crest.
People of a certain age may remmeber Wexford band 'Cactus World News'. They used to sell badges in the shape of the top of a pike, which looked good and could be a merchandise piece for Wexford FC. Though you just know that the cloub and its fans will now become known as 'The Pikies' :D
Pretty sure Bohs had hoops one season, maybe 83 or 84, have vague memories of Paul Doolin / Rocky O'Brien in something similar.
Its not bad, zig zag effect is cool, but I'd have gone for black with very thin red hoops, too many PD home teams have red or red base, can only use this v Cork City, Rovers and UCD. Mind you probably Pats away as the ref will deem too much white on Pats again and both teams will have to change, like last year.
Looks a bit rugby-ish to me for some reason
The Sligo kit is all over the place, Joma designs are absolutely shocking. Really like the Dundalk one, plain but classy. Their away one is snazzy.... The font for the number and name on the back is the same as the new LOI logo. is that something the LOI are bringing in for all shirts?
Jaysus - there's a blast from the past.
It's been a while Pauro!
The massive sponsor's logo would seem to make Cobh's home offering a hard sell:

The design is lovely...sponsor ruins it
