Interesting one, Ola Lawal joins Falkirk from Chippenham, brother of Bosun Lawal I believe, who has been posted to the Scottish Lowland League back end of nowhere by Celtic with his lesser favoured brother now in a better situation than him. Arguably. Hopefully temporarily too.

Youth international goalkeeper Joe O'Shaughnessy (19) has moved from Wolves to Bradford City on a season-long loan. During last season he had a loan spell with non-league Hednesford Town. (BBC Football, 19 August).
Johnny Kenny loaned to Queens Park…
There's a bit of money in Queen's Park these days; they're currently joint top of the Championship. Mightn't be as bad a move as two years ago, when they were fourth tier
I like this move. I had actually hoped for it when I saw him playing for the Celtic colts again in the lowlands/highlands debacle. Stays in Glasgow, has Owen Coyle who is a solid manager, queens park should be reasonably competitive in the scottish championship given their financial backing. He’s still only 19, not 20 until next June. Let’s see if he can prove himself and bang in 20+ goals and take his game to the next level next summer
Very unlikely he'll score anything like that number of goals. The Scottish Championship isn't like the league of Ireland, it's hard, physical, attritional football played on ploughed up grass pitches and even worse astro ones in bad weather through the cold Scottish winter in bleak provincial towns.
If he gets through the season without having lost all enthusiasm for the game he'll have done well.
He was wanted by another team at the next level back in January who would have given him a chance in the SPL. His old club just beat a team from the next level home and away knocking them out of Europe. At least it's not Scottish fifth tier but it's still a backwards step from where he was before he moved to Scotland.
Stays at his home and plays Scottish championship football, still having access to Celtics facilities. Could have been a lot worse. Beating Motherwell during their preseason while you’re in mid season doesn’t necessarily translate to Sligo Rovers being SPL level….
[QUOTE=nigel-harps1954;2121676 it was suggested they're better than Championship level.[/QUOTE]
debatable tbh

Kerry FC forward Daniel Okwute signed for Stockport County; https://www.stockportcounty.com/exci...ns-from-kerry/
Fellow Irishman Paddy Madden currently the main striker and veteran leader at Edgeley Park, but with The Hatters struggling near the foot of League Two, Daniel may well find himself clocking up some minutes earlier than would be usual for a 19 year old.
Didn't see this mentioned anywhere else (apologies if i missed it) but John Ryan of UCD joined Sassuolo of Serie A. Another positive move for an Irish youngster.

Pineapple - any intel? (also, were you asleep at the wheel on Thursday not posting this?!)
Ha! It's in the LoI forum transfer thread. I didn't really think he'd be troubling the national team any time soon, so that seemed a better place for it :)
