To answer my own question, I read this on a Sheff U site:
"Geary has had a hand bags at dawn with Neil Warnock, stormed out of the ground, now in talks with Cardiff. He doesn't want to go as he likes it in Sheffield. I'd rather him not go cos he's good as back up but I think he wants to be more involved in the starting line up."
So Geary has been dropped it would appear.
