Common sense prevails
Clocks go back tonight dont they. 6.15 might squeeze it in so.
I get the thought process behind pushing the game back to Tuesday, but what’s the point in the kickoff time being 18:15? It’ll be dark before the game is over with that kickoff time so what’s the point in playing it at that time instead of 19:45 which is obviously easier for fans to get to after work
6.15 pm is a nuisance for a lot of fans including me and will definitely affect the attendance. I presume it's to allow Derry get home at a reasonable time as they probably only arranged to stay in Waterford for one night.
It’s safe to assume that the KO time is to oblige Derry for them to get on the road home earlier & the floodlights will be in working order come Tuesday.
Sligo continue to do enough to hang onto 3rd.
Some big games tomorow night
What game are RTE showing on Friday night?
Harps derry had more on it but from an rte perspective pats are in dublin
Pats one up , nice finish by Billy King.
Turned on the Harps match during half time is the commentary being done in Esperanto. Im struggling to follow what’s being said.
The lead commentator is poor. If you weren’t from these shores you wouldn’t say it was English being spoken.
As things stand, + result on Thusday and maybe beat Longford, it will be a big last league night v Derry! Followed by Dundalk fans becoming St Pats fans for a few days - purely to back Stephen O'Donnell of course. Of course we may have our own 'cup final' couple of days prior also...
Sligo fans singing the get Battered everywhere they go song, Cringe.
Entertaining game in Richmond 2-2.
Drogheda down to ten men.
Absolutely battered POTM FC until Paddy Barrett gifted them a goal and the game changed. Tired game all round that doesn't mean much for us but disappointing to let it slip all the same.
Late winner for Sligo.
Gary Deegan showing yet again that’s he’s a non footballer but an utter cnut
Not the result needed for Harps.
Did the Harps commentator comment on a 1-1 draw? Could come back to bite but I hope that heavy sodden Finn Park pitch has taken it out of the legs of Drogs players for Thursday!
Important point for Bohs when ye look at GD if there is a melee last day.
What did he do to wind you up tonight ? 22 non footballers on that pitch tonight anyways. Absolutely desperate stuff. I'm not for astro turf pitches usually but the pitch in Ballybofey is consistently a problem, Harps and the league deserve better, football almost an impossible task on it. Anyways glad to be not leaving empty handed.
That was painful, one team got what they came for ,the other was completly clueless trying to get what they needed, both keepers had their slippers on.....
Harsh on Longford (again) tonight. Had the better chances second half till the last 5 or 10 minutes.
Cracker in Richmond. Pats could and should have been 3-0 rather than 1-0 after a dominant first half. The early goal in the second half should have put it to bed but the goal gifted to Bohs gave them confidence that had been totally lacking to that point and from the equaliser on it was anyone’s game. Pats not too bothered about the dropped points, second spot is almost wrapped and will be confirmed unless Sligo win in Richmond on Friday. More importantly, it was a hugely entertaining game with both teams playing good football, which bodes well for the Cup Final.
I hope not.
With oriel , derry, shels and bohs new stadium that would be 6 astros in the Premier if harps go that way.
Really enjoyable second half anyway 😊
Pats were in complete control and should have been 3 or 4 up before they gift-wrapped that goal for us. That turned the game on its head, and with the subs we made, it gave us a bit of size up front and we started causing real problems. You could see the confidence and composure drain from the Pats defenders and when we equalised I thought we'd go on to win. We had our chances but Pats dominated towards the end so a draw was fair enough.
It turned out to be a nice evening for football after a miserable day and the away end is much better with the shed demolished. Just a shame the game wasn't on a Friday.
