nonsense. The installation of the floodlights was done with the same magnificent foresight and forward planning as every other thing our wonderful board does :rolleyes:Quote:

Looking good. The atmosphere tonight for the Ireland game should be good... Looking forward to it.
I heard tickets for the game tonight are sold out. Anyone know if this is true ? Thanks
The Horsehoe still had a bundle last night, so i'd say it isn't sold out, but may be by 7.25 pm!
Great pics Joe. Its looking really good, cant wait to see what it looks tonight. Lets hope we get a good game and a great atmosphere. As far as I know its not sold out yet but hopefully it will be by kick-off time.
I'm sure it will sell out, when the Shed packs up full with fathers and sons in matching man utd jerseys and celtic scarves sneering at the liverpool fans beside them.
Not what I want to see. Ill wear my City jersey and bring my tricolour to counter those wannabe Brits. Premiership jersies should be banned from the shed!! All the same, it should be a great occasion and history will be made when those lights are switched on in front of a full house.Quote:

is that the Danes training?
I have yet to hear a plausable reason why people wear $eltic jerseys at irish games.
I suppose someone wear a Premiership jersey could say wear on the street on a normal day anyway but the $eltic types seem to think its the 3rd oirish jersey.
btw even worse will the people spending thousands to get to japan & still wear a glasgow celtic jersey.
:(
Passed by the X on Thursday night and they had the lights on.Not too shabby, I have to say, not too shabby at all. (WWWWWWAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY better than Tolka's or Inchicore's lights :) )
such a pretty sight and a long time coming. Just hope it's a good game for all those who go along now. Might tempt some people back - this whole football under floodlights thing!!
maybe cos it's got 2 of the Irish colours? Lets face it, people regard anything green as irish, so thats probably the argument you'll get.Quote:

Didnt the lights look fantastic last night, they made the stadium look so much bigger and better- of course the fact that it was full may also have played a part in it.
Wonderful pics Joe.
The stands look class, the pitch seems immaculate, the lights look great too. Even the back of the Donie Ford stand looks better under lights.
Are there any lights under the roof of the Shed or stands. In some stadia they put in red lights and it looks class. Imagine if everyone in the Shed looking red. I'm sure it would be fairly intimidating as opposed to the ultra bright white lights in Dalymount.
The atmosphere must have been amazing last night when the charming little stadium that is the beloved "box" was full..:)
