Strange weekend alright, no team got wipped so no kicker had chance to rack up 20pts+ & no glut of tries in one game as would normally expect.
France were -24 odd points in handicap & no one would have predicted would take til last few mins to win game.
10 substitutions for 4 more games will be vital.
der doesn't appear to b any whipping boys this year.
italy have come on along way.
they could give scotland a run fot their money
they should beat them i'd say like they have in the last couple of years.they should give the other sides a good rattle as wellQuote:

Just noticed on the scoring system, you dont get any points if someone kicks points who's not your kicker. A lot of us have Henson but got nothing for his match winner
That was the only kick he took though so he wouldn't have been a good choice of kicker anyway.Quote:

The scoring system is very simplistic. I don't think any points for wins or equivalent of cleansheets in football.
Often the best player in rugby isn't necessarily the one who lays on the try scoring pass.
Scotland & Italy will be on the receiving end of @ least 1 trashing this year.
The scoring system hasn't been thought out in any great depth. Your better off picking all back rows for your forwards cause they are more likely to score tries
Sssshhh.Quote:

I picked the usual French back row and only discovered after the weekend that Betsen and Hordiniquay (sp) were out injured.Quote:

Looks like Niamh kicked everyones ass this week boys...tries from Hayes, O'Connell, Petrie, Lewsey and Williams, and lots of kicked points from ROG and Yachvilli.
Plus 10 of her 15 were on winning sides.
Well done Niamh.
Fantasy Comp weekend scores not updated yet.
Only get kicking points for nominated kicker.
still no sign of them yet

I wouldn't worry about the Italians, not as if going to get much points off them anyway.
Niamh is now 110th overall.
I'm still happy enough with my team dispite some of the stars not performing.
Stupid bloody Laporte has ruined my chances (plus me being a crap manager).
For example for next games I dont know if I should have O'Gara or Vachvili as my kicker, knowing Laporte he'll have some bloody prop taking the kicks.
The O'Gara - Yachvili choice is a tough alright.
I'll have to do some thinking on that as well!
Great weekend though - a great Irish performance from 18 mins + and England beaten late in Twickenham by a really poor French side.
I see Laporte has named his team , or more to fact, has named a few players to be dropped. Harinordoquy is abck for Chabal. Yippee!
Niamh still on top after round 3.
I had bad week, only 2 of my players got more than 2 points. :(
Had my best week so far (thanks to ROG Yachvili and O'Driscoll), except I had to use up my last transfer to replace Thomas at fullback. I hope I dont get anymore injuries!
Brutal week, I forgot to bring O'Driscoll back into my team
decent enough eek for me...Martyn Williams and Yachvilli doing well for me. :)
 Ah ROO, your being humiliated!!!! C'mon get your act together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;) :pQuote:

Can't believe I'm up to 3rd!
Niamh will take some catching though. She's looking good at the moment.
I think niamh has Eddie O'Sullivan picking her team ;)
