Dan Devine who played centre half with Williams at villa youths was around the same age as him. Also the star has an o Neill alli down as an Irish player at man city fc academy anyone know anything about him?
There's two Daniel Devines, which wrecked my head for a while
The one at Partick Thistle changed allegiances a few years ago: http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/13424369
Daniel Devine from Villa was released in 2013, but didn't find another club
nope, never heard of him. the only Irish player in the academy I know of is Tyreke Wilson, supposed to be a good prospect too.
The other Daniel Devine plays for Firhouse in the LSL.

How do you do spoiler tags on foot.ie?
Anyways, I've deleted my post - think it's correct, but you can see and tell me!
thought spoiler tagss were added myself, they were requested here: http://foot.ie/threads/60323-Spoiler-tags
but you're right anyway, gold star!
FYI - the answer has now been posted on the Twitter link. I got one right (current player) and one wrong (retired).
Went for Ian Harte as the retired player. In hindsight, not enough goals scored for it to be him.
I'm not very good at these things normally but it would have been a much bigger challenge if the the goals scored data was left out.
I'll be post more tomorrow, and wednesday. The images are automatically generated, so (in theory) removing goals should be straightfoward enough.
Mind you...

One in the current squad, one retired
I presume this is with goals hidden?
Makes it a lot harder.
I think I was working off a different 3-3 draw in Turkey, which was really throwing me for the first one.
So I suspect if the first (former) player's goals were included, there'd be a lot and that'd be a dead giveaway?
Is the current player ex-LoI?
Yes, and yes. PM me the answers, think you have it
In my deleted post there, but I went and checked on wiki and I'm right alright.
So yay me! :)
Yesterday's two players were Frank Stapleton and Seamus Coleman

SPOILER: Glenn Whelan and John Aldridge?
I like this game!
It is harder without the goals alright, but it does make it more worthwhile.
