Ridiculous rule change. Players now free to hack away in the last five games of the season, no consequences.

The next thing to change is the second suspension on 8 Yellows after one on 5. Should be raised to 9 or 10. I'd be happy enough with 9.
Should be around 12/1300 Derry fans in Finn Park tommorow around 300 of them will actually see the game!!
Aaron Greene said in his interview the other day he didn't know if he was suspended or not. Was told he was and then later told he wasn't. He was waiting for confirmation back from the FAI. Great to see the rule changed.
1,150 tickets for Derry fans in the end. There's a small number who have bought tickets for the home end too. I've a sneaky feeling the attendance will end up exceeding the 4,500 safe capacity by a fair bit.
Hearing reports of snow in Dublin - any threat to games at Richmond, Tolka and Cabinteely?
Pats done loads of great promotional work for this game, woke this morning and it was fecking snowing :(
Game should be grand Woodquay, it is expected to clear up in the afternoon.
Thanks
Have to love this league. First day of the season. The start of summer football and we're wondering if games will be called off with the weather. :)
Harps V Derry game is gonna be a Bumper crowd, really looking forward to Game now, gonna hit Ballybofey about 6 to get parking and hit Boozer, i am predicting 2-0 victory for the Harps :)
Harps, Derry now sold out
Wow this is gonna be a brilliant atmosphere if this rain/snow holds off
Scratch that actually still some available for home fans
I was down at Richmond Park earlier and the pitch was in perfect condition following the bad weather overnight.
Clubs should be aware of the rule change since it was amended at the EGM
In any event, a player only stands suspended when the club secretary has been formally advised
Any list circulated to the media is only an advisory list and not a formal notice
There is enough that the FAI are guilty off without spurious stuff like this
First goal of the new season scored by Drogheda.
This new look all singing all dancing Cork team are an absolute joy to watch.
Pitch cutting up badly too.
They'll have the wind in the second half, they can bring on Patsy Freyne and langer the ball at him.
Pitch looks awful.
That was dreadful.
Terrible stuff alright
Huge crowd in at Finn Park

Chris McNulty @chrismcnulty86 Flares on the pitch, Derry fans where there shouldn't be Derry fans, old place bouncing. Hello, North West derby!
Harps lead!!!!!
While the first half lacked many clear cut chances, it was fiercely competitive, physical and Bohs closed down really well. But there were a good few dangerous balls (mostly by Bohs it has to be said) and some decent play.
I think George Hamiltons tone sucks the life out of it on TV. You'd swear he was at a funeral. He is well able to ham it up in the Emirates, Old Trafford etc.
Pats :D
edit
and Derry :D :D
Come on the harps!
Galway and Pats?
Back up the Truck!
Who called Buckley as the first manager to go?
YES!
I don't even care that Derry fans are the absolute heigt of scum, but that was fantastic.
