Club release a statement in response to players one

The o'Connor's say they have only been in bray a short time, let's hope it's not much longer either, or the club will be gone. . If his priority was the players wages then he should have double checked that everything was in place. . Trevor said that if player wages was messed with he would walk, so why wasn't everything checked, Trevor also mentioned an embargo on getting players in, this was also denied by the o connor's, ..
Another break down in communication's , have we heard that before. .
Let's hope someone can get Trevor back. .
Good Aul Comical Denis

Obviously he meant not on time :rolleyes:Quote:
That is not the story in Bray Wanderers, everyone got paid last year despite all the furore, and everyone is going to get paid or will be paid this year. There is no issue about that.
Reminds me of Tom Coughlan "Everything will be fine sure I'm just one man and I'm doing my best".

Has the Irish Times hit the motives on the head?
The Carlisle Grounds is probably one of the best located in the league and should be retained for football. From my recollection the council own it and Bray have a long lease, so I would assume that any redevelopment would need the full permission of the council in more ways than one. Other suggestions are that the Luas is to link to the Dart and might require a portion of the ground to allow that to happen. Either way the Carlisle is one of the most valuable sites in the country.
The FAI and the Council should get involved to ensure the Carlisle grounds continues to be a soccer facility in the same way that Dalymount and Tallaght have been secured.
Having said that I would think that most supporters would be accepting of some redevelopment that might involve a few commercial or retail units if it makes a financial contribution to the redevelopment of the grounds in its current location.

Lots of questions in this article.
The validity of Mr O'Connor and Mr Kelly as directors, Milway Dawn a Telecommunications company, a list of over 70 questions for O'Connor/Kelly.
It has confirmed the EGM is on for this Saturday.
Seems Mr Deering group have been voicing concern for some time now.
The players need better support. Let's hope the Saturday EGM starts this, and then 3 points against Derry!!!!!!
I remember a couple of years ago there was a thread here discussing supporters buying shares in the club.
Did anyone get the opportunity to buy shares in the end?
Will there be anyone at the meeting that might be able to voice supporters concerns or fill us in on what the outcome is?
Any hope of getting Trevor back are lost according to latest "joint release" from bray wanderers and Trevor croly. .
Joint statement from club and manager.
http://www.bwfc.ie/jointstatement/
looks like Croly wanted to leave and the players wages was his way of getting out. Rumour I heard is he's going to Sligo.
The JD school of crisis management - everything under the shadow of litigation (seemingly/allegedly).
I have heard that some Bray fans are arranging a protest for Saturday before the game against the current owners and it is getting a lot of interest. It will be an interesting few weeks!
I think the club has been very badly managed and run. I was one calling for a change after years of uncertainty but what is happening now is shocking. The people in charge are not football people and are ruining the club. Get them out!
I was invited to take part in the protest at 5pm on Saturday 11th July, ex. PA announcer of 30 yrs Vincent, ex. Groundsman of 20 yrs Ger, ex. Photographer Mick of 15 yrs and many more fans that were disgracefully banished from their jobs and the ground by the O Connor and Kelly regime.....I hope they get the support!
The only solution to the on-going issues is if the Deering/Devlin group can regain control of the club otherwise it will go tits up!
Did those club stalwarts voice concerns about how things were being done or did them geniuses just want everyone out, clean slate, "we know what we're doing." ?
I'm sure it was alluded to here, but I haven't followed it closely.
It's all going to be just fine.

"Bray Wanderers are committed to keeping our football team in the premier division of the League, to continue to work with and develop youth football in the community".
The absence of reference to the Carlisle Grounds seems glaring in this sentence and in the following paragraph. Ambiguity smells of land deal for new sparkly state of the art home for Bray Wanderers. Thats worked out well in the past if so??! Celtic Tiger mark II is gaining some traction in too many quarters!
I am beginning to question my own sanity in relation to all of this. There was a section on the club website last week announcing an EGM in Arklow on the 7th of July I think. Details of proxy etc were in the news section??????????????
Dennis O Connor will be on Soccer Republic tonight to clear everything up and put everyone's mind at rest.
Nearly forgot! Have my €2 coins to power the TV!
In the middle of all this it seems someone has played the signing of Peter Cherrie. Good 'keeper but he won't be cheap. And anyway I thought McGuinness was doing well, and surely Brian Kane should have been given a chance if they didn't fancy McGuinness
They're aiming for the top half this season according to the chairman!
I don't know the guy at all and perhaps my perception is coloured by the stuff coming out of Bray, but I don't trust him at all.
Thats Tom Coughlan reincarnated.

according to Darren Quigleys tweet there is an egm
The players were live tweeting taking the ****. This is some mess. Said it above that he reminded me of Mr No Bobs.
Striking resemblance of Denis with this guy?
