Harps start pre-season training tonight in Letterkenny and have a few local players in on trial.
We've Coleraine away on Monday 26th January.
Yeh i would imagine its Lecarrow as John Caufield is from there. Strange though as Cork are playing Athlone on the 30th and Cork are playing the Roscommon League County Team on the same day, in Lecarrow. so they have 3 games in 2 days all up here.Quote:

Yeh alot of junior clubs, mainly Monksland United, used Lecarrow over the winter when their pitch was unplayable. Its a nice setup alright

Does my nut in when friendlies are played and absolutely no info is released on lineups and subs by either side.
Anyways, I assume the Cockhill-Finn Harps fixture never was judging by the twitter account of both teams.
Match was called off. A training game was played between mostly trialists and under-19s of Harps to give Cockhill a run out before their Intermediate cup tie next weekend.Quote:

Dundalk u19s beat them 2-0 in Oriel. Rovers won 3-0 in AUL. Cork beat them 1-0 and don't know the Sligo score. They also played a few games against junior teams.
