We were even money to win promotion even before we bet shels.

Galway are 4/7 to be promoted with PP UCD 5/4.
First leg priced 13/8 both sides.
That lad setting odds for PP doesn't know what he's at.
Jasus 13/8 fill yer boots
Going to stick a few quid on this, if Galway wins its a free night out.
Away goals don't count, right?
Correct.
Feels a bit weird to be heading to a playoff game as a neutral. The masochist in me might even be feeling a bit jealous. Suppose it's good for the blood pressure levels to spread the joy every so often. If nothing else its sure to be more enjoyable than sitting through the soaps with the missus
Worth noting we've an awful record at home against Galway, but do quite well out there. Even this season, we've lost in the Bowl and won in Galway. In 2008, all three league games ended in away wins.
Galway had a great away record in the regular season too if I remember rightly. Not sure they actually lost a league game away from home.
Commentary on Galway Bay FM if anyone wants to listen in.
Early updates - 1200 here maybe? Ucd well on top. Galway nervous
That won't come back to bite me at all of course! :)
1-0 ucd!
Well deserved too

Half time now. Still 1-0. Galway very poor. Fancy Benson for one on Friday unless they improve a lot. That said, we're getting a lot of offside calls in our favour and are defending very well at times. Wouldn't take much for Galway to equalise
Official attendance 643.
Clearly nonsense!
Wojus one on one miss from Galway, who are pushing a lot more this half. But bottom line is they're not good enough at present
Good enough for the banks!
1-1...
1 - 1
No away goals, but you'd think if it stays 1-1 that's advantage Galway.
2 -1 Galway
1 - 2 Mannnniiinnngggggg
2-1 Galway
Jesus, UCD...
89th and 90th minute
O'Donnell super save
Result.
Real kick in the teeth. But with Bens and creevy back for the return and our mutual good away records against each other, still reckon we can do this
At least away goals don't count so still all to play for.
They only have to be good enough to get to the Premier at the moment in fairness. They'll have a few quid to spend if they go up.
Galway Fc have played 5 times in Dublin this year. Won 4 & Drew 1
