Even at that Prince and Ali were expected since last season so realistically the only players to come in that we wouldn't have previously been expected were Leahy, Duggan, Turner and Tam. Leahy spent the first half of the season injured and Turner only came in two weeks ago.
Even with a supposed cut budget that amount of ins compared to outs doesn't make any sense. If we had a top class under 19's winning leagues every year to rely on you'd say something.
At the minute we don't have a squad I would be confident of staying out of the bottom 2 we are only 3 points ahead of Bray. One or two injuries to good players and its done for us the next week until the window closes is absolutely huge.
Who does McGann play with these days ?
Confirmed by the club it's Shaun Kelly who is gone. He will be a massive loss. Nzuzi or Costelloe are nowhere near good enough to replace him. Suppose if it is family and not football reasons though, just have to wish him well for the future.
Supposedly close to signing two, possibly three players. Anyone know who they are?
could be as many as 4 new signings by weekend.
What way are the crowds these days.
Very experienced midfielder on the way.:o
Joseph Ndo is one of the names linked with us as a player coach. I'm not really sure how I feel about that.

If he can get fit he'd really add a lot to our midfield. Despite his age this league will still allow him to flourish. No nothing about his coaching qualities. Ndo, Prince & Duggan is a tasty prospect.
Would be a great player to have as you say if he is fit but pretty sure he has missed a lot of this season through injury.
Ndo and Djilali signed
http://www.limerickfc.ie/limerick-fc...or-ndo-djilali
Well that escalated quickly...
Have to think Ndo won't play a whole lot with his age and being injured, Dijali could add something....overall we still need more though. Headlines might be bigger than impact on the field.....unless Ndo turns out to be a genius coach in the long run. Happy to see some inbounds at last.
Lynch & Kilduff look promising by end of business tomorrow.
I'm happy enough with the signings. Have heard Kilduff and Lynch as well. Would be fantastic to see us through the rest of this season.
Ndo: Bit older now at 38 but people have tried to say for ages he is too old but he keeps on delivering. A lot of sligo fans pretty ****ed off to see him loaned out to us. For his influence within the team as much as anything.
Djilali: First few times I saw him with Sligo on the wing I thought he was rubbish but when he moved more central he was like a new player for them. Was outstanding in the FAI Cup final for Sligo and in the run in to last season. Has had a rocky start this season with Sligo fitness wise it seems but maybe a fresh start would be good for him.
Ndo is huge off the field lads in a load of ways. He is still good enough to make a difference playing too tore us apart last season.
At long last positive news , been impressed any time I have seen djilali good signing very fast and direct player surprised Sligo let him go , ndo has to be positive great record in irish football , kill duff and lynch would be nice if they happen aswell.
In fairness, if the other two lads come off we'll have potentially gone from being in The Showgrounds last week and thinking to myself "We are ****in terrible, there's absolutely nothing here, we could go down yet." to a starting eleven of:
Cusack
Nzuzi/Turner
Leahy
Oji
Williams
Prince
Duggan
Lynch
Djilali
Kilduff
Gaffney
With N'do, Hughes, Nzuzi/Turner, random Ghanaian winger among the subs.
It's not perfect but it will do fine for the moment!!
Any more word on the other Ghanaian lad(s)? Had heard about a month ago we had two more possibly on the way. The winger supposedly an even better prospect than Prince. We talking next season with the permits etc?0
Jack Dorothy also signed from ipswich.
Kilduff
Lee lynch
Zahed
All done
Unfortunately Rory Gaffney to rovers also done
Woah, what? When did that happen?
Ya heard that. Ideally I'd have like Gaffney and Kilduff but at the same time two strikers in and one out up front isn't too bad.
Could be looking at:
Barry Ryan
Nzuzi
Oji
Leahy
Williams
Duggan
Lynch
Prince
Djillali
Zayed
Kilduff
Subs:
Cusack
Folan
Murphy
Doherty
Hughes
Ndo
Turner
McManus
Mann
Or any combination of that. Much stronger now on paper as we are less reliant on under 19's.
Folan says he's a Limerick player and has been told he isn't going anywhere, via Twitter.
Can't have everything I suppose :p
All those deals are trying to be sorted the only one actually done at the minute is Jack Doherty on loan from Ipswich.
Lee J Lynch one gonna be a tough one to get done Pats don't want to let him go.
Gaffney massive loss if he goes best player we have
Lee J is done it seems.
Just need to finish the Gaffney for Kilduff swap now.
rory would be a loss but he hasnt been a great striker.its one of the things the team was lacking.if zayed and kilduff are signed along with lynch, djilali, doherty it will be a great boost to the team.hopefully it will bring out a big crowd for fridays game.
So far we have signed:
Ndo
Djilali
Dohery
Lee J
Jack Doherty and Shane O'Connor confirmed.
Lee J confirmed now too.
Barry Sheedy gone.
