I was optimistic for ages about our chances. But after Friday and last night i think the boat has left the pier. 2nd place is good too.
I think we will be favourites next season, especially if we can hold onto our key players.

Don't agree. I have a feeling about this one. Shels came off the back of a really hard game against CCFC and met Longford who were not their usual selves. Cup hangover and all that. But Longford at home, with something to prove, and another scalp available at a time when Shels will be well jittery in front of their 37 fans . . . . .Quote:

Come on blaming the ref for you're shocking performance, thats sad. :p ;)
We had Uriah Rennie the worst ref in the premiership down at the cross for the Nantes game and we still managed to frighten the life out of them.
no no no, the guy was so bad he was droped from the european panel the next day.....FACT
Shouldn't you be in New York?Quote:

Tonight is a huge game and a big test of the players and management. There's a lot of pressure but that's what its all about at this stage of the season.
Drogheda's home form is poor but their away form is a lot better.
City can finish anywhere from 1st to 4th in the league. Even a draw tonight would practically guarantee european football next season but we have to go for a win. We don't want to be playing Bohs on the last day with second place at stake. And who knows, the league may still be up for grabs as well.
City have to impose themselves on Drogheda from the start and not let them into their stride.
I'm half looking forward to the game and half dreading the tension that I know I'll be feeling!!
