I remember being at the first soccer game at Lansdowne Road Nua, and when I gave a small shout of encouragement to one of the LoI players playing against Man U, a number of people around me gave me a strange look. It was a very enjoyable night and if I was living in Dublin I would certainly go, if the evening is fine. A regret I have is that I did not go to the Europa League final at Lansdowne; was in Dublin that day and I think there was tickets available? The Queen of England was there the same time, could this be one of the reasons the Europa L final in Dublin didn't sell out?
