Likely to start against Charlton tonight according to the club website.
First league start, first league goal for McEvoy.
And to prove that he is indeed Irish, McEvoy was immediately replaced due to injury.
Vine of his goal here: https://twitter.com/AddictedtoSpurs/...90960163651584
He's limping slightly in the celebrations afterwards
He's having an x-ray on it today.
Good grief, hope it's nothing serious. He really is proving his Irishness.
Recalled by Spurs from his loan - http://www.theposh.com/news/article/...s-2076886.aspx
Have Spurs picked up any injuries, or suspensions that might explain this?
More likely they saw he's not getting any game time and decided to call him back so they can find a better option. He seemed to start well there but got pushed out following his injury.
The Peterborough fans weren't enamoured with him from the start. It's disappointing that the likes of Drennan, Burke and McEvoy haven't pushed on.

Training with Colchester with a view to signing on loan until the end of the season.
The fact that Spurs are letting him train with Colchester before a deal is even officially announced is a tad worrying - out of sight, out of mind?
Loan until the end of the season confirmed: http://www.cu-fc.com/news/article/co...s-2227516.aspx
Somewhat surprisingly given an 18-month contract extension: http://www.independent.ie/sport/socc...-31112636.html
Well Townsend, Mason and Kane had more loans before measuring up than him, Townsend had nine, some of them fairly undistinguished, Kane had four including his last one at Leicester which didn't hint at what he was about to go and do at all. Here's hoping CD.
Yeah looked that from the outside. The Colchester move was to get him him experience but he was signed on a
youth deal, also with these loan deals there always a clause that states how much game time he should be given but this was not stated in the deal in error. Also shortly after he signed they got another player with more experience in his position which didn't help. He was unlucky at Peterborough - was in the team and got injured, they then struggled for results which ended up in Ferguson getting the boot.
He's very highly thought of at Spurs, hence the deal.
Likelihood is he'll be sent out on loan again but this is just to get him experience
That's good to hear. Not many youth players around now can say they've scored on Victor Valdes.
McEvoy's prospects ranked.

The problem for Kenny is that he's in a position where good players are a dime a dozen, and it will be difficult to break through into a side that is attempting to challenge for the top four. At present he's probably at the League One level, though he has a few years to continue to develop. I think he has the potential to be a solid Championship player, or a useful squad player for a lower-level Premier League club, like a faster Chris Brunt. And maybe that's even giving him the short shrift. After all, just look at Ryan Mason for an example of a marginalized player who came out of nowhere to become a starter. Kenny's got the tools to succeed, but he'll need to continue to push himself, and get a little luck, to make it with Spurs.
gone on loan to Stevenage for a month: http://www.stevenagefc.com/news/arti...n-2710745.aspx
Starts on the bench for them today
Towards the bottom of league 2 then.
Mind you an unnamed other was at Notts County down in the depths.
No doubt he will Realish the opportunity. :chuncky:
Looks like McEvoy has returned to Spurs after one appearance for Stevenage, and is now linked with another loan to Preston: http://footballleagueworld.co.uk/cha...BjwcbCwTrd2.97
Remember when Mark Yeates was at Spurs, and Jol called him the next Gazza, but kept sending him out on loan?
That's a huge loan for McEvoy though. He hardly set the world alight at Peterborough or Colchester at League One level so to get a chance in the Championship is great and he'll have Alan Browne to help him settle in, being a fellow Ireland under 21. Nice contingent forming there with Doyle and Cunningham also.
gone out on loan again, to York City this time until 2nd January 2016: http://www.yorkcityfootballclub.co.u...r-2819817.aspx
York second from bottom of league two.
York hoping to make his loan move permanent: http://www.yorkpress.co.uk/sport/141...ove_permanent/
Currently bottom of the league
his lawyer has negotiated his release from Spurs and he's looking for a move for first team football: https://twitter.com/kennethMcevoy/st...169728/photo/1

Doesn't look like he's committed to joining York permanently. If they're relegation fodder then he's probably too right. Hopefully a L1 side takes a punt on him with an 18 month contract.
Also, interesting to note that he's married. Looks so young and is only 21.
thought it was interesting that he used a lawyer, and not an agent. Roy Keane, David O'Leary, David Connolly and Niall Quinn all used a lawyer instead of an agent as well.
if you follow him on twitter, he retweets a lot of stuff from his wife, she keeps a blog here: https://tonimcevoyblog.wordpress.com/
I read this and it's one of the strangest things I've read.. https://tonimcevoyblog.wordpress.com.../08/our-story/
From there, Keith with his wife's father.
https://scontent-lhr3-1.cdninstagram...17675875_n.jpg
So Keith knows what he will look like in 20 or so year's time.
Wonder if they use the same toothpaste?
Anyhow that is another person to follow on Instragram :p
Opps!! Yea should be Keith, mind you both start with a K so same thing really.
yes, all things that start with K are the same. Kings, kumquats, kickstarter.com, etc.
That blog is one of the most disturbing things I've wasted 30 minutes reading in recent times. What a nutter.
signed a deal with York City until the end of the season: http://www.yorkcityfootballclub.co.u...t-2885894.aspx
