Because some clusb would rather people see the high estimates than the actual figures. Some clubs do release actual figures too

do you know who Dodge? Would you share if you do? Could "fan" some good debate...
3,200 at Tallaght for Rovers v Linfield.
I know Harps release official attendance figures after each game. It's never anything spectacular, but it's official.
We usually do
1,235 there on Monday night
I'll be adding to the Limerick stats over the course of the season anyways. It'd be great to see more support behind the club.
btw I know it is a slightly diff topic how do you get access to your clubs previous attendances in previous seasons on this forum?
Utd V Chelsea Fa cup is on Sunday which is on ITV at 4pm sunday, I hope it wont affect Limericks attendance too much, it would be nice to see them get somewhere between 2-3k at the game
Dundalk v Sham Rovers: 2598
Great crowd there in Oriel.
Seemed decent enough here in Bray too. didn't hear an announcement though...
1368 at Dalymount tonight.
400 in Drom
Pats v Drogs 1706 according to ET.Sounds kinda official?
Looked to be a lot more? Of course I wouldn't be overly familiar with the stadium.
Re Drom, depends if you count the players, management, ref and those who are playing in the cages. Horse racing Ireland do this as it gives a more impressive figure and helps insure they keep the 60millon euro grant they get from the state every year for their sport/industry. I was there for the 2nd half; I would say there was about 100 looking at the game including stewards, subs etc and those playing the 5 a sides at the back. The chairman of the league was also in attendance. Approx 25 from Longford there?
Nice to see a decent crowd back at Oriel. Dalymount as well had a good number in (maybe the kids in free not included in official), Pats find it difficult to break the 2k barrier.
628 at RSC according to Donegal News.
LOL. Wouldn't fit 400 people around that pitch unless they were up over the bog.
Would have thought there was much more than that myself. Figured in around 800 or so. Although, of course, I can't really judge a ground I've only been to 6 or 7 times. About 40 or 50 Harps fans in that too.
2064 in Richmond so I was told anyways.
Great crowd for us, Drogs had a few hundred too.
There was about 70 at the Drom, no way was there more than 100.
Just reading the Star there and its giving 1,200 at Bray/Shels and 700 at Bohs/UCD.
1200?
Would have hazard a guess at that.
It was a decent enough crowd from what I could see anyway.
Would have said about 100 in Drom. 40 or so from Longford.
