"2 all! we're gonna win 2 all!"
now where did they get that from?
fenlon sent off to the stand for complaining about diving
luque coming off, he had a great game
apparantly they've decided to have a race around the running track in the riazor
Sounds like a cracking game, the adventure was good while it lasted! On forth to the Uefa :)

85 mins shels had a good chance but deportivo are dominating.
It would be wonderful to see that old Alan Moore trick, especially if it forced Not Extra Time and Shels through, though that might be hoping for a lot.Quote:

free to deportivo on the peno area line, could easily have been a peno... goal! 3-0 pandiani
Fair play to Shels...They have given it a right go. The ref is a joke. Very biased for Depor
Theres the third. Ah well. Roll on the UEFA Cup. Well done Shels. No shame in what you and Cork City have achieved so far for the eL.
roddy will be angry, pat all proud. alan moore sent off.
no contact, both players going for a high ball with thier legs, andrade spun like a ballerina and then flopped like noel king without viagara
3-0 to deportivo full time.

Don't knock the ref - can you see UEFA being happy to see that the major clubs would have to come to Ireland for a game - bad enough for them to have to go to Cyprus, but comparatively small TV audiences, no glamorous big name Deportivo, and likely p*ssing down in Lansdowne in October to boot. No, the ref knew the score all right.
Perhaps I'm a touch cynical and a tad bitter
Ah well, end of another dream, but then again, there is still the UEFA Cup, who'd have thought two years ago we'd see an Irish team still in European competition at the end of August, never mind in September.
And Rovers lost to Longford, so it isn't a completely desolate night.
Anyway, well done and thanks to GavinZac, a fine and noble job. Can you finish with the words of solace from he who will learn to say "Carlton, you're coming loose"
perfect night
3-0
man sent off
