Sligo or Dundalk away please.
A home game would be nice but not against a First Division team, playing each four times is bad enough without being drawn together in the cup.
Ball numbers:
1: Athlone Town 2: Avondale United 3: Blarney United 4: Bohemians 5: Bray Wanderers 6: Cherry Orchard 7: Cork City 8: Crumlin United 9: Derry City 10: Doughlas Hall 11: Drogheda United 12: Drumkeen United 13: Dundalk 14: Everton 15: Finn Harps 16: Kildrum Tigers 17: Limerick 18: Longford Town 19: Malahide United 20: Mayfield United 21: Mervue United 22: Monaghan United 23: Phoenix24: St Patrick's Athletic 25: St Patrick's CY 26: SD Galway 27: Shamrock Rovers 28: Shelbourne 29: Sligo Rovers 30: U.C.D 31: Waterford United 32: Wexford Youths
Bohs - Malahide utd would be interesting
Kildrum, Harps or Longford at home...or any non-league at home either.
Any of the other 5 teams from Cork would do nicely.
Wouldn't mind an away trip to Dublin for Limerick, would be closer to my current home.
Non-League team at home
The presentation is awful..
Shamrock Rovers away!
Anyone any info on St.Patrick's CY??
Drumkeen Utd. I'll take that...
What weekend are these games on? I was watching the draw with sound off as John Giles was on, expected them to show the date when they gave the list of games at end. 3rd round is weekend of 27th May on the original list, is that a mistake and 2nd round is that weekend?
EDIT: Got it, May 27th yeah.
Same draw as last year for Pats. Likely switched to Richmond again
Some possible shocks on the cards with that draw. Wexford will do well to beat Douglas Hall and Dundalk will find it very tough against Sheriff YC. Longford get a sticky one as well with Cherry Orchard.
They play in the same league as Crumlin Utd and Cherry Orchard -- Top Division of the Leinster Senior League and will be no pushover
Crumlin United 22 14 6 2 32 13 48 Results
Bluebell United 23 14 4 5 45 22 46 Results

Phoenix Fc
Rovers Limerick draw of the round. Loved the way the panel tried not to talk about it. Could Limerick be live on tv for the first time since 1980? Nah who am i kidding this is limerick
Happy that we got a home draw .
Im sure an interested spectator that night in the Cross will be John O'Sullivan the ex Cork City chairman who has recently been appointed Athlone Town CEO.
Or the Round of 16. First live game shown last year was us v Pats in the quarter final as far as I remember.
When will the dates be finalised, as I might time my trip home around that weekend
after you spanked us in richmond and the way we're playing under Kenny i dont think you'd have much to fret about ps.
Limerick could be a tricky tie, some decent players there. with scully and a few ex hoops in the ranks im sure a visit to the league champions will be enough to get them up for the tie. Get past this round a non league team would be nice.
very much the wrong thread but Dundalk are 1-0 up against Cork City in the Enda McGill U19 Cup final up in Oriel. KO was 7pm
I know still wrong thread, but I feel it deserves a bit more attention that going down to the U19s forum.
2-2 at half time. Real pity its a midweek game, not least because the players have exams coming up. I think 3 of the City squad have their leaving cert in a month.
Cork City win 3-2. Double Champions.
Much of an attendance?
Standard of football from what I've seen and heard in the u-19s league this year has been very very high.
apparently 400ish with about 50 from Cork. Can't help but think a Saturday game would have had a much better attendance that that.
Belter of a match last night, both sides got stuck in from the start and it was a game worthy of the occasion.
Well done Cork on the win and bad luck to a very game and spirited Dundalk side.
