What kind of stupid comment is that?????? for example did Nevills shoes demand trophies when they sponsored Fairview, did Stuffins demand trophies when sponsoring Pike.... get a life...
of course they dont demand trophies , but the reason they want to sponser teams doing well is also more exposure of their name/ business makes sense to see your name / business across front of jerseys of a team in the papers regulary after winning leagues / munster / fai and i am sure a few of the players / committe / supporters will also pay a visit now and again to business who are sponsering their team. its a lot harder to get sponsership if you are not succesful
"sponsoring a team in the way yee have been sponsored " can you please clarify what you mean but your statement. most clubs gets sponsorship from local business , we are no different. our sponsors name is clearly show on our a-team jerseys, there is also signage in the ground. how are your club sponsored?
balbec77 and footballmad are one and the same if i am reading ballbec77 reply to my post to football mad.
also put up or shut up.
Goebelles had a great line about people being told lies and believing anything that they are told.... look it up....you and the rest of the town would fit into his comment perfectly.
leather you know who i am and im not football mad aswell but i will say one thing and that is i played alot of soccer in limerick and 100% know exactly what goes on in there.just because i reply to a post which i am entitled to does not mean i am one of the same person.
If your club had the same opportunity would you be on here talking about it. Things happen in alot of other leagues around the counrty and its fair play to the Club, down here in Limerick its hate them, they do this and they do that, Wish my old club had the same chance.

summerville
i'm going predict an wembley win, pike win, fairview win and summerville win
same as, except i think hospital will get the better of summerville.
Summerville should be to strong for hospital, summerville are picking things up and will want to continue with there battling form.
Just wondering if any team is looking for a friendly next Sat morning (March 3rd).. We are a junior team from Galway looking for a game
Hospital 3-1 Summerville.... Very poor Summerville performance worst all year, taken advantage by a poor Hospital team. Who well deserved it on the day and we're miles the better team. No football was played at all with it been all long high balls by both teams
Regional 1 Wembley 1, Regional won on pens,we where the better side throughout the game i taught should never have left it go to pens,we had a pen to win it the shootout, just wasnt to be i suppose we kicking ourselves tonite, best of luck to Regional good bunch of lads.............As for the referee, this particular individual will cause a riot someday where people will get hurt mark my words.
Andrew Keogh hotspur the man is a liabilty, there wasnt a bad tackle in the game,it was played in a good sporting manner, yet he booked 9 or 10 players and sent off a regional lad for absolutely nothing,he constantly wants to be the centre of attention and his decisions turn the game into a lottery. To be perfectly honest its just not enjoyable when this fella is in charge, the whole ground was just fed up with him for a finish.

Fair play to Caherconlish at the weekend, incredible score-line. Sickening to score 4 goals against the best team in town and still lose
Pike.
Carew Park 0-2 Janesboro
Much improved Carew Park performance here in comparison to their recent Premier clash. They went with a defensive 5-3-2, with one of the three midfielders holding, and by and large frustrated Boro, until they fell asleep from a throw in just before half time, allowing Shane Clarke to open the scoring.
This was a disaster for Carew as the way they were set up, it was unlikely they were going to score from open play, with no wide men and both strikers isolated and frustrated. So frustrated in fact that one of them got sent off. Jamie O'Sullivan was shown the red with about 15 minutes to go, for what I'm told was a push but I didn't see it to be honest as my view was obscured.
Boro then wrapped it up on the counter with 5 to go through Shane Waters who had moved out to the left.
Apparently Wayne Colbert was sent off late on but I had left by that point. Word is that the ref (who had a shocker) may have been looking to even things out.
In summary, credit to Carew. They learned from their last game against this opposition but their concentration let them down at a key moment.
Ya heard ref had a terrible game, wayne will be a big loss to the boro at a vital part of the season
