Ibis Nantes Gare Sud is the best option.
It's in the City centre, 300m from the train station, you'll only go to the stadium once or twice over the weekend, and if it does fill up, theres a Mercure hotel even closer to the train station for pretty much the same price.
And apparently, one of the tram routes in the city goes from the centre right past the stadium.
I haven't booked yet, but I know where I'm staying.
Yeah Defo Stadium
its not like its that far away from the City centre like! as well be awkward if ye must

who's booked town so? colm et al.. any chance of ye changing to stadium
Oh No!
I see a split emerging.
remember how handy the hotel in malmo was?
We've not booked yet. I still think the City Centre one is the better option but if none of ye want to change then I'll happily stay in the Stadium one. The Rebel Army have to stick together.Quote:

Just booked stadium one.
We're gonna land on Saturday evening, book into rooms, have a couple of drinks in the bar and then head into town for the night.
Sunday will be a case of hitting the bar again before the match and then lumping whatever flags, drums etc to the ground for the match and lumping them back to the hotel after the match, freshen up and hit an Irish bar for the night!!!!
This can be done a lot easier in the hotel by the ground
Not as if we'll be doing much sightseeing is it
Myself and Willy are booked into the one by the stadium
jammy *******s
For sitting in the bar all day?Quote:

You could just go to one of the bars in Cork that's showing the match, then you could stay there all night as well.
If Turners Cross was near the Ibis in Cork would you recommend any Nantes fans travelling to stay there?
Forgive me if I'm wrong but we're going to support City in a match, who cares if we see the sights or not!!!!
And I for one did see the centre of Malmo but the whole bloody place was closed!!!!
I saw Malmo and Copenhagen and Malmo and Copenhagen all in one nightmorning and then went for breakfast.

down near the bottom of the page
also click on the map to see how close they are
just wanted to confirm that the sports center was Nantes football ground as there is another stadium in the city center...Quote:
