The fact that I can't even remember the pizza slices answers that question :) - don't even have a chipper half the time anymore attendances are just too bad. Some serious sambos in the clubhouse tho il tell ya that :)

Urban myth I am afraid the bioavailabilty of oral crack is very low, unless they were smoking the bugers, and nor does it make any commercial sense since a Hit of crack is more expensive than a burger And furthermore after a feed of crack the only thing you're gonna eat is a hookers ass.
Northern Sound radio promoted the launch on their sports news there during the 1 o'clock news Brian!
And your promoting Northern Sound here.
There are no selfless acts anymore.
Great Stuff...looking forward to kicking off the launches this weekend and trying to get round everywhere in next month!
For the Mons-- Billy Bagsters back on Sunday so stay there after the Youths game!
Thanks to all the fans at Oriel, Dalymount & Gortakeegan that bought the book in so many numbers. The welcome I got at each ground felt fantastic. Can't wait for the rest now.
Feck ya Brian, I had planned on an early nite so would be bright eyed and bushy tailed for the first Monday morning in my new job but decided to have a wee flick through the book and 2 hours later am just putting it down. Not sure I will sleep though coz the Bray grey day is now replaying on a constant loop in my head after reading about it.
Such an impressive book and to have accidentally ended up with the very first copy makes me feel extra privileged! Go buy it people or I will batter you with my copy!
Got my copy of Brians book on Saturday night and it is a very impressive tome (and that is not me being swayed by Loi's answer to Laurel and Hardy, AKA Roddy and Brush).
Definite buy for any LOI fan (and Shams supporters*). Every club covered with history/info. More facts than you would find in three Dodge posts together and more humour than a post by...... well, make up your own minds ;).
Great job Brian, a positive addition to the (all too limited) range of LOI books out there
* Yes,I am joking
Galway launch has been re-scheduled for the Backstage Bar, Monroes Live, Dominick Street, on Saturday October 22nd (9.30pm).
All Galway based League of Ireland supporters welcome.
Post edited - Saturday October 22nd.
They have one copy in Easons Dún Laoghaire and I very nearly bought it but I'm gonna give my money on the night of an event.
Up in Turners Cross Friday- then onto the Evergreen Bar directly after the Cork City v Longford Town game (Damien Richardson hosting, guests including Bobby Tambling, Jackie Morley) at around 9.45.
Hoping to ger a decent crowd.
Next night (Saturday 22nd its Monroes in Galway for the launch in the City of Tribes with various guests and the three Galwegiand clubs attending.
Still trying to fit a few more in.
as far as I know he lives in Kinsale, works with their underage sides too? He was City's first ever manager and he has some great stories to tell
looking forward to this now
Still Chelsea's top scorer, I see.

Did MNS run a mascot race at the end of this seasons show? Was hoping to do one with 17/18 mascots for charity soon if not.
By the way the book is on the longlist for the William Hill Irish Sports Book of the Year , won't win but nice to be among them!
Where can you buy this book in Dublin tried Easons in O'Connell street and Swords but no sign of it.
Easons in O Connell St should def have it
Easons Dún Laoghaire had 1 copy 2 weeks ago.
Defo their O'Connell St store should have it.
Reads Nassau St - €15.96 ; loads when I last looked...
Just took it out today from Kerry County Library - excellent historical profiles of the 21 League clubs along with matchday details for the travelling fan. Hopefully the "Defunct Clubs" section won't require an update in the long-term, and that he'll need to have 24 teams in the next edition. At any rate it's a book that'll satisfy both the hardened veteran and the LoI novice.
Book has gone to reprint and nominated in the longlist for William Hill Sports Book of Year (though not a chance of making shortlist with the clout other books have behind them and famous names)
The facebook page is fun, quiz questions, old photo's and vids - https://www.facebook.com/pages/Just-...ref=ts&sk=wall , maybe visit and 'like' near 1,000 there now
Thanks to everyone who has bought the book so far. It was named in The Irish Examiners Top 3 football books of the year last weekend, given great reviews in the Times & Independent and is now in a 2nd reprint.
