From Teamtalk's paper round-up: West Ham table £4m bid for Liam Lawrence, Wolves in for Paul Green.
I guess he just really likes going to Crystal Palace games then. Can't account for taste, it seems.
According to The Sun, Adam Hammill is being linked with a 500,000 stg move to Wolves. Could be a good move for him and Mick might get him to declare.
In regards to my comments in relation to posts about Pady Madden, turn the sarcasm meters on for God's sake!
According to an anonymous football agent on Twitter who's usually pretty reliable, Wigan Athletic will be selling Chris Kirkland and replacing him with Kieran Westwood either this January or in the summer.
i think lawrence has signed a permanent deal with portsmouth..

I think that's just that the contract signed in August has finally gone through. If Portsmouth get a good offer I think their minders will strongly encourage them to sell.
duff back to blackburn? read last quote in this somewhat amusing article:

Looks like Birmingham are in talks with Keane. I'm sure Brum will pay approximately six million pounds for Keano, and the deal will come down to whether Robbie is willing to take a pay cut/go to Birmingham.
Just watched Blackpool vs. Birmingham and I thought Carr played well again. He got me thinking about Finnan. I don't believe he ever officially retired. Anyone have any info on him and is there any possibility of him finding a club this month?
Eddie Nolan supposedly has left Preston and signed a six month deal with Scunthorpe. Jim Gannon taking over at Port Vale.
Conor Powell has joined Colchester on an 18 Month Deal, seemingly to replace Irish qualified Marc Tierney, who is rumoured to be going to Coventry as competition for Stephen O'Halloran.
They've also (edit:not) permanently signed Dave Mooney.

Saw on SSN yesterday that David Forde at Millwall is the subject of interest of a few PL clubs. Cant remember who the clubs were, will try and find link.
Jim Goodwin joins St Mirren. Wasnt he part of the Kerr under age winning team.......the one that beat Italy I think. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,195...638294,00.html
Stoke deny any interest in Stephen the great.....good for them

Nolan's move was always going to happen, wasn't it?
Terry Butcher has denied rumours that Adam Rooney is being sought by whatever team Dan Petrescu manages in Russia!
Seamus Conneely - Galway United to Sheffield United
Mark McChrystal - Derry to Tranmere Rovers
.....and the guy at Hull - Devitt (?) has signed a contract extension.

I don't think he'd find it easier to get into any of those sides than he did at Stoke.
He would definitely get in the team at West Brom, can't see him getting a game at Newcastle though. It is too bad that Steve Bruce bought Muntari today from Inter, because Whelan would fit in really well at Sunderland in my opinion.
Not sure he could get a game at West Brom if a fit Steven Reid can't.
Yeah but when he's been fit he's been used as right-back cover in both divisions.
Adam Rooney to Russia?

shane long is being linked with a move to west ham.. don't know where i saw it but it was about ten minutes ago on the internet. that should surely be good enough for a transfer rumours thread.
That has surfaced at the weekend alright. Hard to know what would be best if it came to pass? Reading have a good chance of getting to the playoffs and if they do so, the chances are Long will be key to that. A summer move would be really likely if they didn't get promoted themselves, whereas a move to west ham now could just as easily end up in relegation.
Darren O 'Dea worried as to where he stands at Ipswich with the great one gone. Wes Holohan has signed a new deal at Norwich.
Lee Carsley possibly being vetted to become player manager at Walsall, Boothroyd trying to cool their interest.
Hopefully some of these boys get contracts during the transfer period.

Daily Mirror - Everton now interested in taking Robbie Keane on loan. Would be a great move for him, but Redknapp it seems will only sell him.
Both from Sky Sports transfer watch thing:
Teenage striker Jamil Adam has left Barnsley after his contract was cancelled by mutual consent.
League One club Notts County are close to agreeing a deal with Blackburn Rovers to sign Alan Judge on a permanent basis.
