PayPal is just the payment provider, you don't need an account to pay with your credit card, and you don't need to join afterwards if you don't want to.
The problem is that I don't have a credit card. Sorry, I didn't make that clear earlier where it would have looked like I didn't want to use Paypal.
I guess you could do a bank transfer or send a cheque or postal order? Never really thought about it tbh, you're in a major minority these days!

Edit - I deposited the money in the Limerick branch of his bank - Dahamsta got it within an hour or two (I'd say it was pretty much instantaneous actually). No other fees of any kind involved.
For the record, I've decided to leave the rates the way they are for the foreseeable future. Technically, as far as I'm aware the price you have is the price you'll be charged whether I change the price or not, but I'll research it in detail before I make any changes. If I think there's going to be any kind of issue at all, I'll email club members first.Quote:

Just a heads up, renewed my membership few days ago and it hasn't seemed to kick in yet. I'm missing my avatar already.

My membership renewal payment has gone through but it doesn't seem to have renewed on the site. It's weird with ads.
Mine went through there a day or two ago after a few bank problems stopped my renewal going through.

I've put PayPal back the way it was, hopefully that'll fix it. Nigel, I've added a year to your account, and deleted the existing recur as that's on the other PayPal account. At least you won't have to go again for a year. :)
