If you are taking your information purely from this thread. (Which wouldn't suprise me.)

I've said it earlier, we will know the make-up of the two Divisions once the two Cork clubs know their fate. If both get licences, the Divisions will be made up by how the on-the-field issues were sorted last season. If one (or both) fail to get the licence they were looking for, a wee bit of rejigging will have to be done.
Cork have one according to their forum.
Athlone and Cobh?
Limerick FC get a First Division licence. :ball:
So every club so far came in under the 65% rule? Seems very hard to believe.
Boo hoo . Delighted we got our licence .All our great supporters that busted there arses fundraising to save the club get what we deserve . Gonna be a struggle to stay in prem but we will have a good time trying .And give it a rest about how horrible bad drogheda have got away with it blah blah blah , its over and done with .Blame the people who run football in the country for the lack of punnishment and not ordinary decent supporters like us who tried our best to save our club and suceeded .WELL DONE TO ALL DROGS SUPPORT :D
With Cork and Drogheda sorted, am I right in thinking that Athlone and Cobh are the only other clubs that might be in trouble?
Bohs sites says that they got a licence - doesn't say 'Premier'
My internet went down after I got the phone call this morning. We were awarded a First Division license.
A press release will be issued in due course.
But this year, if anyone steps out of line they'll be stomped on. Seriously. We really mean it this time.
COBH DON'T GET FIRST DIVISION LICENCE!!!!!!!
They have been awarded A Lewague licence along with Salthill Devon and Tullamore Town.
Premier licences to Bohs, Cork, Derry, Drogheda, Dudalk,Harps, Galway, Mons, Rovers, Shels, Sligo, Pats, UCD and Waterfords.
First Division to Athlone, Kildare, Limerick, Longford, Mervue, Fingal and Wexford.
By the way, says the licence has been awarded to Limerick 'FC' and not '37' - another name change, or another error by the FAI
Ha ? Cobh not getting one so
Strange choice of wording, though!
Don't like taking things as read, but I think we can take it as read that they meant Premier (as in, the licence they were looking for). It said there were no conditions attached.
So we're now at -
Premier Division clubs
Bohs
Bray
Cork
Drogheda
Galway
St Pat's
Rovers
Derry?
Dundalk?
Sligo?
First Division clubs
Athlone
Limerick
Mervue
Shelbourne
Cobh?
Finn Harps?
Longford?
Monaghan?
Sporting Fingal?
UCD?
Waterford?
Wexford?
Edit - disregard if Woodquay's post is correct.
Longford Town First Division License
Kildare County have received a First Division Licence.
FAI to announce make-up of the two leagues very shortly.

To save people trying to decipher that. Conditional licences to:
Athlone Town, Cobh Ramblers, Cork City, Kildare County were given licences on the basis that financial commitments they have made will be honoured within the agreed dates before the start of the 2009 season.
Granted this is interesting but they could have made the whole process more exciting by drawing out the teams live on TV, alternating a Premier and a First Division team. A majot celebrity would have been on hand to generate even more excitement- Bláthnaid Ní Chofaigh or the woman who announces the stops on the Luas and the whole event could have been finished with a song- Voncent Hoey singing 'Back in Black,' for instance? Monkey knife fights optional.
FAI definately missed a trick here.

The one thing that jumps out at me from that list is Monaghan being awarded a Premier Licence
Well done to them on that count
They got one last year too, didn't they?
On Longford's relegation, it could be as simple as not having a CPO this year. Though obviously there may be other reasons.
Edit - that'll tell ya, Réiteóir! :p
