Grady is having a brutal season so far. He needs to be dropped or something to get him going. There's no way he should be in the team on current form.
What about the type of thing that Kerr did with Duffer against Norway?
Play CP or Doyler up with John and have George playing between the midfield and the front as a link man?
Flynnie was everywhere the other night, just trying to get the ball.
Dalo..as far as i know the player you are talking about is ex-Cobh Ramblers player Willie Byrne who had a fairly good game...
On Conor O Grady i think people seemed to be surprised that he isnt playing very well. There are a few different reasons in my opinion why i think he isnt.Firstly, looking back a couple of seasons when he got player of the year for us, we were an average team so anyone playing at all decent would look a lot better. Then his injury,he has probably never recovered properly after it or maybe he was never great anyway.Lastly,he would not come close to Alan Reynolds in the middle so i think we were used to seeing good ball winning and passing in the centre last year we come to expect it from O Grady also. But unfortunately he is not good enough..
Vinnie Sullivan - Ex Celtic and Livingston I believe.Quote:

Billy didn't do too bad at the start and had a couple of chances but he keeps playing too far infield, when the ball comes upfield and we need an option on the left, where is Billy ? not where he should be.Quote:

Conor was total tripe, and the team as a whole was poor.
I felt Waterford dragged the game down to their level, didn't let us settle on the ball and were quite physical. This totally unsettled us and we had no response to such tactics.
Overall they deserved their draw and could easily have nicked it as we were far too sloppy at the back.
Must credit the crowd for the atmosphere, normally when going a goal down things have gotten eerily quiet, not on Friday night, everyone kept singing and were rewarded with the equaliser.
