5 foot 8,
Overwieght,
Digger O'Brien is f*****g great,
With a nick nack paddywhack,
Give the dog a bone,
Longford Town go marching on...
digger has been super for 3 straight years in the premier.
ryan had one great season but he has a good bit to go to be digger.
the question was asked 'who is the leagues best keeper' not who was the best last season.
playin for rovers will be a real test for barry ryan. everyone knows how bad rovers are at the back!

Is there an "amazed that someone could spout such blinkered rubbish" smiley?!
Bazza has been our Player of the Season - Club and Supporters - for the last two seasons, so there's your argument out the window surely?!
sorry two good seasons, still not a patch on diggers 5 for us. He hasnt had one bad season. hes better than ryan no doubts about it.
How many times have you seen Barry Ryan play?Quote:

when it comes to keepers city are spoit for choice
3 very good keepers after one spot
I shall no longer partake in this debate. I hate to say it...i had to say it...it's bazza for me....(cough JUDAS cough)
Which handily ignores the 640 minutes without conceding a goal at the end of last season!Quote:

Or the fact that no keeper got close to as many clean sheets (13 v. 9)
Or the fact that an average mid-table to lower-table team conceded the fewest goals in the league.
Or all the awards he won - Team of the Year, Goalkeeper of the Year, nominated for Player of the Year (an exceptional achievement for a keeper), two (I think) NLU Player of the months, UCD Player of the Year (second year running), on every team on the TV3 eL show...
Bazza's the best. End of story.
