I think Rumpullo scored for Lecce with a hewader in the early 1990s, before it came into vogue, can't find a clip though.

I seem to recall Tommy Tasker going for an extended run up the wing from goal, passing quite a few, before crossing in (not scored) for St. James Gate around the same time in the cup, possibly against Fanad - RTE actually had footage - needless to say I cannot find that one either. Anyone else remember that?

Ah yes, Rampulla's was the first during "an action".

Taibi's is quite a fine header all the same.

If it was the replay in Tra na Locha (spell?) that goal was scored by Colm Seville,that was yonks ago !!:)

Good man 12th Man, that sounds like it alright - an away replay. Couldn't remember if it was scored or not. Probably 15 years ago.
