Don't tell me what I have and haven't seen

I have no problem putting up pics of articles that have appeared this season, articles that you have clearly not seen
Remember to put it all up now, including the crap ;)

I'm not a journalist. And whats with all the anger? Calm down, its just an internet forum. I have said (several times) I see where you're coming from with your views on coverage in the Leader, but do you honestly think that ridiculing them online or threatening boycotts or strikes is the best way to go about getting more coverage? All I have tried to do is explain to you the workings of a newspaper commercially and how their editorials are governed by mass audiences and advertisers.
The club will develop links I'm sure that will ensure better coverage as time goes on. I just think its harmful and helpful to nobody to rant on and on about it.
Fantastic full page piece in the Limerick Independent, just thought you would all like to know.
We're also in the county Leader and the weekender.
The thing we should be writing about here should be the positives.
We are getting good coverage across all media in Limerick which is good for the club.
This seems a silly thread - and a pointless argument. Which came first - the actress or the bishop? :)
Anyway, for what its worth I don't see the Leader regularly but I was up last week and there were two large and prominent articles on Limerick 37 in the weekend city edition. We will not get the same coverage as junior soccer or even junior GAA - because more people are invovled in that and that is what local papers should eb about. For example, Cork City get good coverage in the Echo down here - but the junior scene in both soccer and GAA get greater coverage. They even get their own weekly supplements.
Its just the way of things.
The Leader's coverage this season has been better than in previous years, but it's still s**t. The paper doesn't have or show any indept knowledge of the club or team. The journalisim is absolutely rubbish. If the Leader was serious about it they'd appoint a soccer correspondent and go from there....
Until Leader journalists are able to display knowledge and discussions about the team/tactics and match previews as they do in other sports, the coverage will remain crap. Articles on former players from our golden era is all fine and dandy, but we've seen them all before.....
for all you hardcore fans, twice I've won a league and cup double in Limerick and not once has there been anything in the paper about it. One of my former clubs won the Blarney Keane cup and got 2 pages in the Daily Star and we got f*** all in the local rag, shame on you the editor
Nail on head there. I'm tempted to lock the thread here and now so that it can at least finish with some degree of sense (I won't though, that would needless censorship :))
The Leader is generally a poor paper overall, it's not just Limerick 37 that suffers. That topic of course belongs to a whole other thread.
For what its worth, good coverage in todays leader
