Maybe you didn't but the majority of Shels fans did. So **** you all....

IMO Shels must be stripped of title, they cheated. Plain & simple.
Any club can go out and by loads of players they simply can't or never could afford.
Shels done it, thats cheating in my eyes
Just take it off them and dont have winners, as some one said we wanted to win it on the pitch!
Oh and about the top team in Dublin, going by last seasons league its UCD:D
I don't want us to be awarded the league if Shels ares tripped of it. We walked out of the Brandywell after beating Cork gutted that we hadn't won it on the pitch.
I don't care if Shels stay as champions or not. That is in the past. The new season starts next monday for some of us and here's to the future
I think calling for the players medals to be taken off them is a poor call. They were the ones who suffered most from the financial problems, they weren't getting paid on time!
Pat and all the players got on with it and in the end the best team, made up from Pats backroom staff to all the players. Management above that have now paid the price for there errors, including one ending up in hospital!
One major thing is standing out around all this, the licencing system is a farce and I feel for the Likes of Dundalk and Limerick.
Yeah I agree it would be a hollow victory for Derry and as long as Shels are not representing us in Europe, I don't care who won last years title.
dont go blaiming the licencing system, its ollie byrnes fault on where you are today.
count your lucky stars that uefa wernt involved in handing down the punishment on this as they would have kicked you out of football altogether.
look on the bright side" at least you will get a few trips to kilkenny, limerick, monagahan, finn harps, cobh ramblers, wexford, dundalk, kildare,:D :D
If Shels cannot get a Premier licence they cannot get a Uefa licence.
The FAI may need to strip Shels of the title to allow them nominate Derry City for the CL place.
I don't know the eircom League rules but if similar was to happen in the Irish League no retrospective action can be taken after a certain date. i.e. Our league finishes about the last week of April, with the official end of a season being 31st May. Once the 31st May passes and say an irregularity was found after it would be to late to challenge. Is there anything similar in the eircom or FAI rules?
I think if the Cheats don't get to keep their title then give it to Bluebeard for his desk.
I don't know any Derry fan who would want Ollies Soiled title.
If Shels were stripped of their title would that not also necessitate them paying back the prize money?
Large can of worms that I can't see the FAI wanting to open ...
