I'm not any kind of Christian so I don't observe Lent. It is fun to tease people I know that do try to go through Lent without something though.

thanks ollie i will too, i used never eat it, but out of boredom i have started eating it....

gave up Crisps about 5 years ago one lent,and havent gone back since,so this lent,im still giving up Crisps.
Might give up the drink aswell........(to be continued)

Crisps, sweets, chocolate & soft drinks, more for health reasons than for holy ones.

We do things differently in Limerick ;) :p

Going to give up the oul Breakfast rolls which I have nearly every morning at work also chocolate/sweets, and might try and kick the coke habit as well (cola that is;) ) basically it is a chance to try and eat healthier, never give up the booze for lent due to the fact I play darts and am no good playing league/competitions with out a few pints (some would say I am no good anyway…:o )

Giving up putting salt on my food unless its chips......so chips for 40 days and 40 nights it is then!

I'm considering giving up calling for Stan's head for Lent.

On the other hand I may go for the easy option and give up booze and sex.
