That's great, come on here and say what I said was "flawed and clouded" and yet make no comment on how it is so?.

Ok.
Flawed.........Where's your arguement for how we got help from the FAI considering it was the IAG who reccomended the teams with the FAI simply going..."ya grand."
Clouded...Your anti-Galway feelings have been onvious from day one."Fair and Square?"You said we didnt get up fairly? We met the Criteria to get an invite to the NEW league.Pretty fair to me.
In the extremely unlikely event that you manage to get a motion of no confidence in the FAI approved by your club's board with a view to taking it on from there, then you may prepare yourself for one hell of a bumpy ride at Galway United....
Welcome to the seedy politics of Irish football....
Shels have been given untill 1.00pm today to come up with documents. But a decision is not expected until Monday.
At this stage I suspect the options are: Ollie accepts the deal and they will be allowed to play in the premier or Ollie bluffs for too long and they're gone completely.
The independent said that Shels will be playing Rovers first game of the Season. Also said a series of Dublin Derbies 1 games(Hopefully Pats vs Bohs) Waterford will play rovers if they go down today.
What do people actually what to happen to shels ?
Go out of Business ?
Relegation ?
Premier but points deduction ?
etc...
Relegation and/or double figure points deduction. There's no sense to losing such a large chunk of Irish footballing tradition. A significant example can be made of them without seeing them dead. I suspect neither will happen though.
No fans, No Players, No manager, E10m in debt. They are already out of business. If they got a license after that it would be an end to the licencing system . Its embarrasing that the FAI have given them another day. They think an extra day is going to sort out this mess for Shels.
Get them out of business. There are already too many teams from Dublin area in the league. Country supporters are better as demonstarted inr ecent seasons by Cork , Derry, Sligo etc
The Licencing system has been over since it started - our dual accounts farce, which we told them about; Seery's pathetic little excuse of a club's blatant lies in their licence application, which the licencing committee took at face value; and now the Shels debacle. And they're just the headline grabbers.
And the worst part is that the FAI have always been responsible for licenceing although Delaney brushes this awkward fact aside. I've asked it before but I'll ask it again - How does Bob Breen still have a job?
KOH
So fine - we got in under some kind of dubious process.
You'll all get the chance to shove our good fortune down our throats if the football ever starts & no doubt you'll revel in it too. That's what football rivalry is supposed to be about.
Meantime - we did what we and every other club was asked to do. We just happened - on a once off basis - to do a better off-field job than most others.
If our pre-season match on Tuesday is a sign of things to come, you can have a great laugh at our expense next November. Our job is to support our team enough to make sure you won't get that chance.
