Ok, well I thought it went well, nothing was or will be achieved from it as sadly Bernstein has no budget and very litle power within Merrion sq.
I was glad that nobody launched into an attack on Liam Murphy as it was neither the time nor the place and he was not on the agenda. There were a few fair questions thrown his way, all of which he answered reasonably well. He didn't say or do anything that could have got him into trouble. Still, he said nothing to alter the fact that he is not up to the job.
Noelle tried to get him to have a go at James, but I think he had more sense. If Noelle would do what she is supposed to do instead of pointing at people, taking pictures etc. we would be a lot better off.

I was very impressed with Bernstein he has the right attitude and some very positive ideas, it is a pity others within the corridors of power don't back him or assist him.

i think noelle feels the club would go to ground if she wasnt involved in the past it suited the like of plonker to let her do all the running and racing but if brian lennox wants to be more professional its time to look at all individuals within the club and their role and inputs

overall i felt lots of love in the room... just none for Liam

was kicking myself afterwards i didnt persue my marketing seminar and why we werent there line of questioning as i wasnt after lennox here but Noelle as Merchandising Manager and Jim Murphy as Commercial manager, its there jobs to attend and they should have fielded those questions imo

as other biggie for me was poor old noel spillage, who dissapeared once things werent looking well for da echo and his all too shabby journalism... how the guy can go on making up quotes from interviews that never took place is beyond me

James: Liam, on Newstalk 106FM last night in dublin you put alot of the away defeats and bad form down to bad breaks, and bad decisions that went away from us, but as you said there we were thumped by Pats 4-1, we lost 4-1 to rovers, we were played off the park by bohs and we lucky to get a 1-1 draw, we were beaten by longford, and what i can see as inferior sides like UCD and longford. You can't keep putting that down to 'bad luck'!

Liam Murphy: "i didnt say bad luck it wasnt just bad luck i didnt say that, they said that , i gave the other excu..*quickly stops mid-word* reasons there.they said that not me. he said that .. he made three points, and i said twas a combination of the three" ( ie bad luck, bad breaks and

sounds comical alright. reminds me of when I worked in Apple and the treat of layoffs was in the air. harry the SIPTU shop steward had the look of panic in his eyes. I reckon gunther was similar, fending off question after question
