Shouldn't Whitmarsh be getting over his knee injury about now?

And Swaninho was pushing 240 or so.
He's 37. But yeah, his wages were very high - way too high for us I'd say - and much as I'd like to get an experienced player into the squad, I'd prefer someone who, with all due respect, seems to be a year or two past his average.
Personally I'd love to have Philly Hughes back.
Well Poor Student young Mr. Hughes has been linked with a move to Moneybags Dublin 7 F.C. a.k.a. Bohemians.
Micko Donnell released by Galway.
Couple more Judases on the move -
Willie Doyle has gone to Monaghan. Austin O'Neill is now with Kildare.
Herald during the week linked us with Matt Gregg again.
I don't know if you will need him, the 2 clubs (Falkirk and Stockport) Quigley was at in trial have both signed keepers over the last 24 hours. Could be staying with you after all ?
I'd say he's looking for full time football somewhere though. I'd love to keep him but I'd be surprised.
Dundalk have released Seán Finn as he's going back to America.
Falkirk only signed a keeper on loan till the end of the season- nothing concrete although it does indicate that they have decided not to sign Quigley.
Darren has expressed a desire to move into full time football and with Derry sniffing around the chances of him staying at UCD are extremely minimal.
Judging by quotes from Darren in the media he's in no great rush to go professional. If it suits him he'll take the step up. I'd imagine he has something bigger in mind than Derry. I still question where Derry could come up with the funding to pay for his transfer fee.
That's not the case unfortunately.

Quigley, who has played for Ireland B and the Under-21 side, said: "I am out of contract, so I've been across in England for a couple of trials.
"I am now at the stage where I am looking to get into full-time football and I know coming to Falkirk is a big chance for me.
heard a roumer from a member of the coaching staff that Quigely has resigned for ucd.......
Presumably on a week-to-week contract then? If he signs a contract for the full season, we're laughing.
Yeah I'd say if he has actually resigned there would be a clause in his contract.
If it was a week to week contract we would get no money for him if he then left. Week to week contracts are rolling contracts which is basically the same as being a free agent regarding moving clubs.
