Love Heineken from a bottle i must say.I hate miller froma bottle!Uggh!
What about twenty bottles of that Biere D'or stuff in Tesco for like €8??
Leaves you with enough change out of a twenty to get ten fags and a bottle of cider for each hand :D
At home, crates of Nelson or Miller
Out and about, Miller or Nastro / Peroni
bottles of heineken are my favourite then it would probaly be
budwieser
I got my mate who works in Dunnes to check for the Miller for me and they dont have it on offer in the Monaghan Store....
Drank a wee bit too much Coors lite last nite...... (not coz I think am cool but need the shades for the hangover!)
Erdinger
Corona is nice with lime. If you can get your hands on "Kirin", a Japanese beer, I recommend it.
On a side note, a joke.
"Why is Budweiser like having sex in a canoe?"
Because they're both f##king close to water.
Good shout. If ye like Corona...Pacifico works too. As does Dos Equis, Bohemia, Tecate.
For you Budweiser people...just get yerself into the kitchen, go over to the cupboard whip out a pint glass. Stroll on over to the sink, turn the tap on and whack the glass under it - ye'll save a fortune. ;)
Tried Cobra last night. It is indeed "nicer than Heineken" but very few beers aren't.
Thought it was ok. Probably worth a second look. We bought it because it was cheap.
Erdinger. By a mile.
Not really gone on beer but Corona and Rolling Rock would be my favourites.
I find a bottle of vodka can be a suitable alternative to a bottle of beer.:D
Victoria Bitter. I think it's only available in Oz bars.
I find VB a bit harsh, if you can get your mitts on Carlton Cold it is the beer of the gods, as one mate puts it "It's like angels pi$$ing on your tounge!" :D
Other great Bottled beers are Singha, I htink it's brewed in Singapore but it's always in Thai Restaurants and Tiger is pretty good too as mentioned elsewhere.
Tesco in the UK have recently started stocking Singha in 660ml bottles, a couple of those is a great way to wind down in the evening.
Some of my favourites:
Erdinger: Was overdoing it so had to give up. belly buster
Budvar: Lovely but a tad bit on the expensive side.
Duvel: When in Belgium, drank loads of this stuff and got carried out more often.
Niksicsko: Montenegrin beer. Lovely but has to be drunk ice cold. Best served in Belgrade with a miniskirt clad waitress. :D
Phoenix: Have the odd tipple of it now and again in the local.
Heinken Export: A must have accessory in Ayia Napa.

It's a bit of an acquired taste. Grows on you. Drank Carlton and Toohey's New for a time, but found them a bit sharp.
