There's €2.5m going into it, the news was announced ages ago. The stand currently in place is better than the bleachers at Belfield Park as it's an actual concrete structure. It's going to be at least better than Belfield Park anyway.Quote:

From what I've heard, they've got to lash up floodlights, fence off the area properly so you can't just look in, probably tarmac the grass banks and it'll have 1,500 covered seats anyway. They'll probably build a new stand opposite the one that's there. Planning permission hasn't been fully granted as some aul one has lodged an objection.
