for some unknown reason this has crept into our league and one must look to the top which is the Mayo League.
One can only lead by example and when your league starts paying poeple to look after football teams then the bad example is set, by all accounts I dont agree to paying poeple in non paying sport.we have professional clubs who cater for this group.it appears that the spirit of the game is well and truey lossed to the good of those who don't get paid.

Very hard for a manager of a top club not to be paid. Our manager of a small club team in low divisions has spent 26 hours last week, 18 hours the week before and on average possible 20 hours a week on club matters. How can you expect a top person to do it for nothing. The hours put in are enormous. At least the players get the enjoyment of playing. All the manager gets is frustration!

€450 a week? You must be 'aving a larf mate!!:D I have no probs with managers getting paid expenses and so on and so forth, but isn't that personal and confidential information on the coach's behalf as to how much they get? That bloke may be getting €1,450 a week for all I know or €150 a week for all I care. With figures appearing on the site, the next thing is that the taxman will be licking his lips in anticipation for his slice of the cake. What junior football managers get from the club is nobodys business except for the club that he is working with.

Lads,
Lets leave the Managers Wages (if any) between themselves and their respective Clubs.I don't want this thread turning into a nightmare.
