town 73 did you do the report ?????
I did. Winced as Turner flew in. Don't think he meant to injure Byrne, he was just a bit reckless. Thought the ref was going to show a yellow, but he was ballsy enough to show red.
Official attendance 1421.
longford seem to be a bit lost without o'brien dillon and barry ferguson, not the same team ye were
ye have a lovely ground too
The only one we will miss is Dillo. We have replaced the rest and yes we do have a nice ground but it could do with being covered in more.Quote:

We struggle to score with two up front never mind dessie on his own. Plus Myler and robbie martin should hav been introduced the instant a red card was issued not with two mins to go.
I think the tactic he played was 4-4-1-1.Kirby seemed to play between the midfield and Baker and he played really well.I don't think it was the best formation and as i have said before if you do play this tactic you need to pass the ball really well and you need to support your striker as quick as you get the ball up there.I fully agree about Myler and Robbie Martin though.Matthews should have reacted to the red card and go all out for the win.Quote:

Realistically we had one decent attempt on target which keeper saved and 4 good chances where we missed target - Kirby, Baker, Byrne and Myler late on - I wouldn't count the header from Paiso as ref gave a corner.
out of those list of chances ronnie only kirbys effort that the keeper made a great save from were real decent chances. Too many times dessie looked isolated and the hoof ball up to him didnt help him. Im not dessies greatest fan but give the man a chance. He looks slightly more committed to the cause this season so far. He looked lively in tolka but i thought maybe that was cause it was versus shels. Maybe he is changed or is this wishful thinking.,Quote:
