Terrific show, IMO, even if there is a tendency to follow the make-it-up-as-you-go-along approach that 24 also uses. You also have the uncertainty of US TV scheduling where they couldn't tell, at the beginning, how long they'd have to tell the story.
This can lead to uneven episodes/plot arcs but I think (well HOPE!) that there is an overriding idea behind the whole thing and we will, eventually, get answers to the BIG QUESTIONS.[/QUOTE]
they have the 5 series mapped out, that is how far ahead they are thinking, i got the 1st series when i was in the states last sept and the bonus dvd is great, it gives an insight into the show, how it came about, the making etc.
i love it, i know the script could be better but the story is bril, can't wait for next monday at 10 :)
Am getting a lend of Series 2 Ep 1-9 tomorrow YIPPEE !!!!!

i will go ape if it turns into a third series and beyond.
have to disagree with ya there. its mama cass from the mamas and papas - "make your own kinda music"
did anyone read the heralds preview of it on monday? basically gave away most of the storyline for second series. ****in ****.
That must have taken up all of 2 lines of the paper then ;)Quote:

as well there is no guarantee it was the scottish bloke listening to the record.
Because so little actually happens. It seems like they're making the story up as they go along.Quote:

Yeah it was useless.
I heard the first 4 or 5 episodes are like that then it starts to get good
if you just look at this thread header with all the other ones.. its looks like... Lost . then with steve staunton underneath i though it was football related :), then i thought no its in offtopics so maybe steve was guest starring in an episode
...anyways.. duno why but i never got into lost at all.normally like those kinds of series.
Oh lord, please bring us the new series of Sopranos soon...
Different perspective, you just feel robbed after waiting a whole week, it was good though!
Missed it can anyone fill me in on what happened??
I also enjoyed it - thought it was a really good episode. I think people get p!ssed off because they keep throwing up more questions instead of answers.

In a nutshell, it showed the events that took place in the same time period of the first episode (1st ep being shown from Jack's perspective). So the aftermath on the ocean with Michael and Sawyer (+ Michael in flashback, not as interesting as some other flashbacks, I suppose) and Locke and Kate's encounter with scary Scottish bloke. Ended on a cliffhanger as Sawyer and Michael get washed ashore back on the island and Jin (who was separated from them after Walt's kidnap) comes running down the beach babbling about "Others". We then see people walking slowly out of the shadows...
Plenty of odd stuff from inside the hatch which will probably mean something eventually - it will be repeated at the weekend some time, best to watch it then.
I've seen Eps 1-9 of Series 2 and trust me its worth watching !
michael has to be one of the worst characters in it. good series tho. I can see how a lot of people on here wouldnt have the smarts like I do, to follow it, but sure there is always emerdale for ye lot.
