I dont support either team but I dont see anything wrong with either celebration. Neville did not leave the pitch, If he did what robben did to the opposing fans that would be a different story. Neville is loved by Man Utd Supporters and hated by Liverpool supporters and Gerrard and Carragher are loved by Liverpool supporters and hated by Man Utd Fans. We can all see the commong theme between all 3 players.

Neville and Carragher would be much more similar, both born and bread fans of the teams that they play for, always have been and always will be. Gerrard on the other hand was an Everton fan growing up ;)

Was Gerrard not an Everton mascot in his youth no? There are photos of him as a kid decked out in his Everton gear posing with the FA Cup trophy anyway.

Well unless he's telling Porky Pies that Barnes was his favourite player and used to go the games with this dad. Carragher was an Everton fan i know that but first i have heard that Gerrard was will be news to the scousers over here as well!!!!

The Liverpool manager blamed the ref! Disappointed because I didn't think he came from the Souness, Ferguson, Warnock etc "we are never beaten except by the referee" school of management. Funny how the game hinged on the two incidents at the end. Liverpool had a free kick and Gerrard wasted it. Man U had one from a similar position at the other end and scored.

Awful game. If Man U lost Rooney I am not sure they'd be much better than a UEFA place team.

I never heard him blame the ref he may disputed a few decisions but first i heard he blamed the ref on the defeat. I know he blamed the defence for the goal.

This investigation was called off when it conspired that the whale in question was not Frank Lampard as first hoped. :D

Wasn't a great game technically but found it intriguing none the less. Someone already made the point about the two freekicks in the last minute. The delivery of the ball was all the difference between three points and one. A good win for United but everyone's playing for second at this stage - (or 4th if your a Gooner like me!:( )

Spoke to two friends of mine last night in Huyton (Stevie G's home town) not that i needed to but anyway he is red and always has been. At one stage when he was a young lad his uncle (A Blue) tried to get him to put an Everton jersey on but he point blank refused (this is an alleged story)!!!! He also had trials with a couple of clubs to see what they had to offer one which included Everton so more than likely the photo may have come then but he is, was and always will be a red.

Gerrard was always a red, but he did admit himself that he had both kits when he was a kid. There was never an issue as regards his allegiances though.

I thought it was great to see Gary Neville celebrate in the manner he did. It just shows the grudging respect he has for the European Champions. He, like everybody else, is waking up to the fact that United will be trailing in Liverpool's wake before long.

Game was sh!te though. West Ham Fulham last night was a cracker. Anyone else watch it on Fanzone? The Fulham fan is an absolute lunatic! Much more entertaining than the likes of Andy Gray IMO.
