The "RDS experience" is very different for rugby than it was for soccer. Temporary stands on 3 sides, temporary floodlights, plenty of bar and food facilities. Might not fly with FIFA/UEFA but worked out very well on a short-term basis to fit the need for that type of stadium. Shows how poor the facilities at the likes of Tolka/Dalymount/Richmond are that they can't be used for such events.
Since we left they put in corporate boxes as well. IMO one of the reasons we are in a mess regarding grounds is that we left there too early.Quote:
