KOH
I agree, KEEP PREMIERSHIP OUT!! Its so british it makes me physically sick.
It needs a rebranding NY Hoop so the EL wont stand.
what about
The Irish Eircom A League
The Irish Eircom (***Premier in Irish) League
can someone please look up what premier and League are in Irish ?? It might actually sound really catchy. The French call theirs the championship in french, the Espanols have la liga and the Von Sportik Technick fellas have Bundisliga. I think we should follow their example.
How about 'The League Needs A Strong Rovers'?
Éiresraith / Gaelsraith :: Irish League
Éirecraobh / Gaelcraobh :: Irish Championship
Intíresraith :: Domestic League
(I like this if you pronounced it "inter-sray-th" :))
Intírecraobh :: Domestic Championship
Idírsraith :: Inter League
Príomh-aire :: Premier in Irish
Note these a crude translations done using the online dictionary at http://www.crannog.ie/focloir.htm
iCraobh :: iChampionship
(I crave)
;)

So 'The All-Ireland Premier League' ;)
Depends if they are looking to make Bosman signings from other clubs then they are part of the United Kingdom :D , but I do like the all ireland name although its essentially the Dublin District league at the moment with a few regional teams. As mentioned by someone else surely there must be a sexy irish word out their like the bundersleague.Quote:
