Why don't City sign some Eircom League First Division players instead?
I remember that night in Waterford well. Me and a couple of my mates were standing behind the goal in the freezing cold and the lashing rain in our city jerseys, the things we do for our club!
that would be an idea all rightQuote:

No he didnt, he was MUCH MUCH better at Cork, believe me (& Im sure Peader the Bohz Man will back me up on this one). He was younger and faster at Cork, where as he was often played (and cought) out of position at Bohz. HE WAS DEFFINITLY BETTER AT CORK!Quote:

ya dave was the ultimate cliché "the rock in defence"
Yeah HIlly was outstanding at city, anything that got past him ended up in a lot of pain!:D
Yeah, very little got past him. He'd head anything!
seems strange we limiting ourselves to signing players from england.
i wonder has gunther sent anyone to check out the trials the FA in england run near the end of the season for young playersd about to be let go at the end of the season. There would surely be irish talent available.....
When Dave Barry took over he brought in perfect mixture of youngish local talent - not completely inexperienced players straight out of the youth team - and a few older experienced: Ollie Cahill, Kelvin Flanagan, Derek Coughlan, Noel Hartigan (ooops), Colin O'Brien, Noel Mooney, then Dave Hill, Patsy Freyne, Phil Harrington. That's just what we need now.
dont forget Hunt.
great player.
another thing though wheres youre man Nesovich theese days?

Hill was better at Cork, I can back you up. He has had a few good games recently for Bohs when he's actually played.
Probably propping up a bar somewhereQuote:

just reading on www.eircomleague.net that billy woods is out of contract just thought id show it cos there has been a few arguements lately over it .
The season may be over, but Richardson is certainly not idle as the contracts of Billy Woods, Robbie Horgan and Seán Francis are all up. Tommy Dunne will be out-of-contract in August.
Rumours that he found pint glasses more interesting than footballs.........Quote:

I'm not spreading a story, I'm stating that I've heard a rumour. I was very careful about how I put that, knowing what kind of reaction I'd get.:p
and now you are telling us, so you are actually spreading a story!Quote:
